Thread: Anyone Care To Spare Me A Few Million?

Well I am about 28 cars away from owning them all and I was wondering if anyone would not mind handing over a few million so I could buy the rest of the cars. It is a long shot, I know, but then I can get most of the achievements in the game other than the time trials and 1,000,000 online credits. So far I only need to get seven cars from Italy, and twenty one from Germany to round things out nice and neatly.

Here's me hoping you help me out...

I don't have that kind of loot, but I am curious how you are doing the transaction.

Are you going to put a car up on auction house that has a buyout of X-million dollars? If that's your route, then you can snag the online credit achievement.

Ahh yes, that would have been the way I would have liked to do it. Are you sure you can get that million credit achievement that way? It says "Earn 1,000,000 "Online Credits" from Tournaments and Career races."

After this next race I will put a list together of the cars I am missing so that hopefully people may donate them. After I have all of the cars in the game, I can give the donated ones back, and Hell lend them a few vehicles so that they can get some achievements.

Many hands make light work after all, and it is not like I want to keep the extra cars, rather just get the achievement and be done with the game. From there I can help others with getting their achievements.

Gordon, you're not asking for help, you're asking for a hand out. Most of us actually have to work hard to get that kind of loot, so you'll get no sympathy from many of us here.

Well that is too bad. Of course it took a lot more loot to get the other vehicles than it would take to get these. I just needed them for a few moments, but gauging from the response so far, it seems the request will be fulfilled. I would have been happy to help out others after mine were completed because I would no longer need the cars.

But this request was no different than asking someone to help clear a level in any other game.

I suppose you can lock the thread up or delete it.

It takes a lot of time to do this, unfortunately. I am almost in the same boat, Capt.

Maybe you and I can gift each other cars? I am trying to get the US cars and the rest of the "secret" achievements (which require having all cars in my garage).

So I can "loan" you the Italians/Germans and you can "loan" me the US cars that I need afterwards!

I am totally cool with doing that. Compile a list of what you need and then we can save each other some time.

After completing all of the races it becomes a little more difficult to make money only because you are no longer getting bonuses for completing sets.

Also do you think it is part of the requirement to be sent the Limited Collectors Edition vehicles, or the other exclusive one for pre-ordering the game?

no, I doubt those "extra" cars are a requirement.

At least I hope the aren't, since I don't have any of them.

Anyway, I know there are only about 9 cars that I need left. I'll get that list going in a short little bit and we can get this thing goin'!

The thing with me is that I have earned all my achievements, so when someone asks for me to give them a handout to earn achievements I laugh at them. If the achievements you want are important enough for you to play the game and earn them why worry about them at all? To boost your gamerscore that's why and that is pretty lame. I would have bee happy to help you earn those achievements by gaining credits online to purchase them.

Are you switching to the dark side? First you change your gamertag and now you are whoring for gamer points. What is this world coming to? I think you should change your gamertag again only this time make it Mahkila #2.

Getting these 90 or so achievement points will probably take more effort to complete then lets say getting 1000 achievement points in NBK 2K6, Madden 06, NHL 2K6 or Fight Night Round 3, even with gifting them back and forth. This trading cars thing is pretty much like going through the story mode on Gears of War with a friend.

It is all about perspective after all, and one could surmise that those other games do a lot more to whore a score.

Woundup, if you think about how much time I put into this game, getting these the hard way means probably 10-15 more hours of racing. After all the racing I've done, I think I can fudge it a little bit. I will still try to collect all the cars anyway, since I only was 12 cars away.

Anyway, Gord, I got all your cars and I will be sending you your cars along with the cars you need! I'll post back when it is finished.

Once you receive the cars and get the achievements, send mine to Quo!

All vehicles have been returned to their rightful owner... Before reading that you wanted me to send them to Quo. Sorry about that. Do you need any of the vehicles Quo that Jon does not have?

Thank you as well for helping me out with those final few vehicles, they really would have taken far too long to obtain.

Now all you need to do is get one million credits online and you will have 1000/1000. I will probably have to leave it at 930/1000 for a while though since i have to review a few other games, like Tenchu Z.

I probably should not have spent so much jumping around between the different areas of the world, when auctioning would have worked out.
