Just wanted to get this topic going again. Big Sunday coming up for us AFC North kids! Will the one loss become a 2 game losing streak for the defending champs, or will they be chanting "We Day" again, in a fit of a lack of creativity...![]()
Calling them the reigning champs makes my ulcers burn. They cheated their way and was GIVEN that trophy. Good luck Sunday Keezles, Hope you can squish some sqeelers. Hopefully we can pound some brown and not get to banged up like your boys.
Looking forward to watching the Seahawk's fans set new decable levels never before recorded. I feel sorry for the Gaints it is going to be louder then ever after this piped in fan noise c@#$... This is one important game for us going to 3-0 will be huge!
Can you believe the Bungles are dogs in this game? The line's moving now, but it was at +2 early in the week! Pitt showed nothing against Jax... I woulda thought Cincy'd be favored in this game, even on the road...
Should be a fun Sunday in our house. My wife (Giants fan) will be reliving memories of Jay Feely gifting the SeaPigeons the game last year. And the Sunday night game is my donkeys against my son's Patriots. You guys will appreciate this; he's an 8 year old Patriots fan in AZ because that was the team he would always pick in Madden. What better way to come up with a favorite team, especially when your "home" team is the cardinals.
Sorry buddy, can't be helped. That goes back to the old AFC West days before the pigeons jumped ship to the NFC. The Denver-Seattle rivalry never really took off (except when you guys drafted that jackass Bozworth) because of the pure hatred for the Chefs and Raiduhs. There were some great games in the Largent days though!
The Seahawks and I endured those bad and really bad AFC years... Now we are to be respected...
Well, both games for the AFC North were brutal to watch. No matter if one team is better then another, these teams beat up on each other. I havent cussed and drank that much at a TV game in a long time. Amazing how something I enjoy so much, can piss me the hell off! Congrats to Keezy. One bright spot was that the squealers lost. I can now die with this damn heartattack in piece!
I can't type any of my post game feelings without sending the censors into over drive. Suffice it to say, Roberto Coclough isn't my favorite Steeler right now. Their D was beating the pants off the Bengals until that fumble. #$%^% fumbles!!!!
Dont worry about Keezy, I am gonna petition the NFL to give the win to the Browns, My Ravens did not earn that at All. They did EVERYTHING they could to lose it. Amazing how other teams make TD's so easy, not us. Gonna be a long and stressful season.
Seahawks go to 3-0 and if you only watched the first 3 quarters you would think they where the best team in the NFL. It was a great performance other then 4th quarter where they fell asleep...
I watched most of the first half up until it was 35 - 0 and was amazed with how good Seattle looked. I was pretty surprised when my neighbor saw me outside and asked if I had been watching the game because the Giants were back to within 18 points.
Congrats on the big win Keez! Very impressive. I'm going to have to disagree with the assessment about the two best teams in the NFL though. The Bengals are right up there, but I think some mad props have to go out to DMiller's seasquaks. Despite them going ultra-conservative in the 4th, that was an impressive win.
And how about my donkeys beating the pats at home? Solid!
Bears: 3-0, though it wasn't pretty. After that game I'm wondering what lies ahead for Grossman. He was making good throws all game but they couldn't get into the endzone. Then in the fourth quarter he decides that he's going to act out 90's Madden game, drop back 20 yards and then throw - to the wrong freaking team. I almost had a stroke. Fortunately they came back. Yikes.
