It looks very cool I have never played the other MGS games. It looks like something I would like I might have to get this one.

I just watched the whole thing and all I can say is "YES! YES! FOCKING YESSSS!" If this isn't game of the year, I will eat my own bawls after working and not showering all week.

Gametrailers has it up. Holy Shit!!!!!! This makes Gears of War look like balls! The new camera angle is also awesome! GOTY for sure!

Wait ... there's actual gameplay in Metal Gear Solid 4? The beautiful cinematic trailers left us perfectly content with watching the game. However, after watching Kojima's walkthrough of the game, we'll be pretty cool with actually having to play the game as well.

Of particular focus is the new camouflage system, where Snake can turn into a statue, or blend in with the floor. Also, you may notice a far more intelligent camera system in this latest iteration of the Metal Gear series: it follows Snake, behind the back, and will jump into an over-the-shoulder view for aiming.

We're glad to say the game looks good. Not just graphically, but it looks to play very well. Certainly, we weren't expecting anything less from Kojima Productions. PS3 owners will have a lot to look forward to when this exclusive arrives next year.

Holy fking shit! AMAZING Deffo getting a PS3 now. so much detail and little things you can do . I.E Barrel rolling down streets LOOOL fking classic

lmao well said mate, This game looks amazing, My brother was a bit iffy bout me trading my xbox in he said ps3's aint really that good, well atm anyways but I guess in time they'll evenly do as well as the xbox maybe even better in terms of graphics with it being on blu ray ect. I showed him the first 6 minutes, upto the barrel bit he found it hilarious, Loves it so hes deffo gonna be sharing my ps3 when I get it haha He is impressed with the octocamo on the floors ect, reallly cool, he said it musta took ages to work out the bugs with that, musta been alot of cock-ups with it in testing.

He thinks its on - par with GoW, gow runs so quick and "fast and furious" as he put it without jerking or any sorta framerate showing just smooth as hell and kick ass graphics, He said this is sony;s vesion of GoW basicallybut with a best selling franchise allready attracting the fans.

and tbh I agree 100% It looks amazing, its like sony's version of gow, and it'll do amazingly well, it'll no doubt boost sony's sales i know for certain TWO of my college mates are considering a ps3 purely for F1 and MGS4.

I will have no sorrow when I trade in my xbox in a few days time! Still getting to play blue dragon, mass effect forza with a phat ps3 on the side! bring it on baby yeah!

This looks freaking amazing. Wow. This will likely be the first MGS game I ever play!!! It looks fantastic.

Omfg... you havent even played mgs 1 2 or 3 (ps I aint played 3 lol :/) Theyre amazing. I loved number 2 for the ps2 I played through it countless times. I played through MGS 1 over 500 times (no is no bullshit) I played it thru 2ce a day nearly for a whole year. I cant remember how old I was lol I was addicted to it.

MGS is gonna make GOW (and 2) its own personal bitch. It'll do MGS's laundry, scrub the floor, cook it's dinner, and then ask for another politely while MGS beats the mother-loving piss out of it.
