    PFL: Injuries in Games Poll

This poll is for league members only. Please don't vote if you aren't in the PGL Madden League.

We will be allowing people to play with people who are injured this year. But, there's been some discussion as to whether we should play with in-game injuries ON so that there's some risk of losing a player for a few series or even a half a game or so.

    So, the options are:

    1) Turn injuries off completely for each game.
    2) Turn injuries on in-game.
    3) I don't care.

I also want to point out that not all of our games get completed normally. Often a game loses connection, so you have to restart from a reasonable point. Turning on injuries raises a potential question of whether you would get the guy back on the restart. So please, answer the poll, then state whether you think you should get the guy back on a restart (or half-game).

I think we should allow the player back in the game in the event a game, half or quarter has to restart. Anything else would be too complicated for my tastes.

It's not that I'm voting FOR on... I'm just voting AGAINST off. I also agree with Quosef; it'd be too much of a pain to mess with the depth chart after an injury/game restart. I know nobody here would pull the plug on a game just b/c somebody got hurt, which would be the only thing we'd have to worry about.

This does not have to be any more complicated than accept the defaults at game start. That is how it was done last year.

    And also, no swearing!

    I voted for on... (duh)

And - I'm all for you getting the guy back on a restart... I'm sure we don't have plug-pullers here.

NOW - if someone does lose their key players - and consistently also loses their connection after losing a player, well, then I think they'll be up for a spanking from Peench.

Geez, I just voted for injuries on and I have McNabb, what was I thinking?!?!?

Yea, to ease confusion you should get the player back on a restart. Good thinking Quo!

Shit, if I can't sweat I may as well be outta the tourney now!!

Oh yeah and when I lose a player or someones scores on me, expect some "disconnects." When we restart the score goes back to zero right??

Honestly I don't really care. I was leaning towards on, but every game I've played so far (well, that only makes 2) has had a lot of injuries in them. Seems a little unrealistic to me.

In the event of a restart, just refresh everything. We're not plug-pullers.

Hey I voted to have injuries on and my whole life depends on Adrian Peterson!

If he can't hold up to 150 carries a game then I have no use for him however we all know he can because of that super human thing and all.

We could always do something like if one of your good players gets hurt for for 4 games then we could vote to let that person take injuries off. Or not .

I still can't figure out how to work this thing, RETARDED, this probably means yall have nothing to worry about while playing me, I tried to post a reply a while ago and I'm not sure if I posted anything, but then again last time I posted the same thing twice, RETARDED, anyway what I said was that I voted for injuries on because it's just more realistic, and if anyone should be worried, it should be me, Adrian Peterson is my whole life. But like I said before, if he can't hold up under a 150 carry per game load then I have no use for him. However as we all know, he can hold up because he is in fact super human.

Now let's see if I am actually talking to anyone out there.

By the way, after playing the game for a couple of days now, I was wondering if we could turn the FUMBLES OFF?

haha I thought this was a post about injuries that you have sustained personally while gaming...

Yes...I can even manage to get hurt playing a video game...I still think that inanimate objects will get out of my way.

You can't turn fumble off, and even if you could, most people(including myself) would prefer to leave them on.

Killa's joking. Relax there killa. You got your word in bro. I don't know why it's not posting up immediately.

Looks like we're going with in-game injuries ON. As far as using injured players, we've already determined to allow use of your entire roster at the start of each game. You may have to re-order your roster because EA will place injured players at the bottom of depth charts when they are injured. So make it a point to take a look at the current rosters before each game. It's up to individuals to make sure that their players are available.
