nice show as always, glad to hear community and office getting picked up for more episodes, not so much parks and recs, haven't gotten in to that one, seems like it ripped to much from the formula of the office. I liked My name is earl more then parks and recs.

Nice show again boys, the whole "Colbert Report" intro had me rollin', and nice to hear Cat back once again. Also, I had no idea that they were making new episodes of Futurama so thanks for that little tidbit of goodness.

A little comment on the whole Final Fantasy portion of the show. I am one of those non-PS3 owners that will be buying FF13 for the 360. I've been playing the FF series since the old NES days and always enjoyed them.
The so called "J" part of the JRPG's can be a bit confusing at times but it's always fun to see the little different nuances that another culture adds to their games like inappropriate fits of laughter and horribly costumed megalomaniacs over dialoguing on their plans of world domination slash destruction.
I do miss the old NES/SNES days of the series as the games seemed to better translate to those systems. But any game that costs 60$ bucks and has the potential to give me over 80+ hours of entertainment is always a bonus in my mind.

Then again, opinions are like assholes.......

I agree, but I do think establishing your accepted "J" level is important in game selection - at least I give it weight in my reviews. For example, I had a blast with Eternal Sonata but some other folks on our review team just found all the quirky elements distracting, instead of engaging. However, they all jumped on my Valkyria Chronicles bandwagon, which I think had a far lower "J" factor. Oh, and when I finally play FF, I'll have the chance to realize my dreams and play "Chick, or dude?" for hours on end...

A joy as always, fellas and lady. Laaaaaaady... when you're with me I'm smiiiiiiiling. Giiiiiive me alllllllllllll your love (sorry for the STYX tangent).

    - Almost threw up in my mouth with the bad mouthing of A-team and Knight Rider. And I refuse to rewatch based on the fear that you are 100% correct about those shows being unwatchable.

    - Smallville rant was priceless, but unfortunately you can't bad mouth a season you're not watching (I've never seen an episode myself). You will have watch the "Horrorrr" (said in Brando's Apocalypse Now voice) to report how truly bad Smallville is. Essentially being our war-time correspondent who reports about all the bad things are to people back in the States.

You fellas really think Boondock Saints II sucked ? i mean, what did u expect from it ?
I agree about My Name is Earl! It was a great show. As for Boondock 2, I am still going to see it, despite Sam's (and most reviewers') opinion. I mean, Sam doesn't watch Tarantino films on general principal, and I pretty much like them all!

I watched every episode for 8 seasons! What do you want from me? I think the random selection from the current season was good enough to hold it up against the pain and suffering of the first 8 seasons and see that they match perfectly. Smallville is the perfect example of TVs power to take something really cool and corrupt it completely. The idea of one who chooses to represent the very best of humanity and protect those who cannot protect themselves, rather than conquer, is the core of Superman. On Smallville, our "hero" is a whiny, petty, suspicious, self-righteous prick. I always hoped it would get better and instead, it kept getting worse. Congrats on Season 10, Smallville!

Hey, you didn't have to bring me into the discussion. I took years of practice to be this big of an A-hole, so I do appreciate the acknowledgment.

I haven't listen to the show. The reviews I've seen thus are the game have seem mixed. They like the game, but they come off as disappointed. I think the reviewers were expecting something more or some new evolution in the RPGs take place.

Personally, I haven't played any of the of the FF series. I did play the Dragon Warrior series on the NES. I did play some of Dragon Warrior VII on the PS2 (actually on my PS3 since it has the emulator). Definitely Japanese.

On the first one, if you maxed out the your levels on your character, like I did, the king would say, "art thou powerful enough to defeat [whatever the name of main boss was]." I forget what level I was at when I first fought the boss, but I had to use healing magic and what not. On the maxed out character, it took like five hits with the sword, LOL.

    On to the show comments:

Sparticus is improving. I think the last episode was the best thus far. I forget the blonde girl's character name (played by Viva Bianca), but he character is getting annoying. The show still shows some promise. And yes, the show is on Netflix, and the new episodes are available on Friday morning. The show is really good when they're not trying to do play on some extra-material affair love story.

I'm telling you, the more I hear of remakes of movies and shows, the more I get annoyed. It cannot be that hard to find some new story. I don't expect a new underlining story, but come up with new characters and circumstances. The fact they're making Police Academy is ridiculous. The first one was the best; I have the dubious shame of saying I actually say it in the theaters. Maybe Steve Gutenberg needs some money.

Awards shows are boring. Unless some fight breaks out, what's the fun. They could just put up the winners on the net, and I would be happy. Unless you're into the whole "celebrity" thing, I don't see how people get sucked in. Ironically enough, I've managed to stumble on to them and see classic moments like Michael Jackson's and Lisa Marie's kiss, and the monage tre between Madonna, Britney Spears, and Christina Agularia, and a few other classic award show monents. I should mention, I don't like award shows, even when I'm the one getting the award.

And Lou should ask Cat out since they both prefer single player games. A nice thing in common. Lou, I found a picture of her, just for you, 8)

be careful, it looks like she might bite, LOL.

I'm a big fan of sexual intrigue. The Lobbycast just got more interesting.
