Quote

I think the random selection from the current season was good enough to hold it up against the pain and suffering of the first 8 seasons and see that they match perfectly. Smallville is the perfect example of TVs power to take something really cool and corrupt it completely. The idea of one who chooses to represent the very best of humanity and protect those who cannot protect themselves, rather than conquer, is the core of Superman. On Smallville, our "hero" is a whiny, petty, suspicious, self-righteous prick. I always hoped it would get better and instead, it kept getting worse. Congrats on Season 10, Smallville!
That's awesome.
