Not doing a midnight release for a game add-on ever, but I'll have it on launch day via Amazon's morning delivery.
I think at this point I'm most excited for Firefight, I anticipate it being a good time.
Does the main campaign have co-op?

"There's absolutely co-op throughout the campaign." the Rep Confirmed.
The rep couldn't confirm the number of players available, and whether or not the split screen with online option would be availalble - but with ODST running on the Halo 3 engine we're confident we'll see something similar to it.
So they confirm it, but then say maybe, but then they aren't sure in what format, blahblahblah...

Just no midnight launch, I'll be playing all day though on launch day for sure, I just can't bring myself to copping it at launch day. It is an add-on after all.
And Bungie's Q&A for ODST confirms:
How many players will the game support?
1-4 players for Halo 3: ODST's Campaign and Firefight modes.So there you have it. Roll with it Epyin.
Fine then. I'm getting it, and when we do the Goo play-through on launch day, I'm talking through all the cutscenes and saying things like, "WATCH WONDER!!! THIS PART IS COOL. HE DIES THOUGH. SUCKS."
It will be like watching a movie with an 8 year old who has seen it before, only instead you will be playing with quo.

This is looking pretty good. I might just have to pick it up.

Yeah, if it wasn't for the Co-op modes(story and Firefight), I probably would skip the midnight shindig. But I live 3 minutes from Gamestop, so it's not a huge investment for me.

Like I said before, It looks better to me graphically than Halo 3. (but I only played enough of it to complete single player)
Very, verrrrrry nice! I'm pumped.
I like that they're showing the character's faces. Something about it is cool, more personal than the chief, and I dig that. Not that I'm slamming 117, it's just that this is fresh, a little different.
The faces look 100 times better than they did in halo 3 too. I am a bit more psyched about this game after watching this but I may just have to sit this one out until December or January.
