    DLC: The Lost and Damned

IGN has already put up a preview of the upcoming DLC. They mentioned it's going to be 1600 MP ($20). Normally, I would say Rockstar or Microsoft were smoking crack charging that much, but it's suppose to take about 12 to 20 hours to complete the single player portion. Link to article.

I loved this line in article though, "For $20 (1,600 MSP), L&D offers ...[new stuff in DLC]... One thing's for certain: Rockstar isn't dicking around with horse armor."

So, if you're not too lazy, you can get a code a Gamestop and get three months free of XBL with the special they have going. Not too bad.

The trailers for this look good and have me interested. I was just wondering today how long it would take to finish this. I might have to get a used copy so I can give this a try. The price tag isn't so bad if the game will take 12 hours to finish. Hopefully this is a new start to more quality DLC in the future.

Not to troll, but Saint's Row 2 is much better than GTA IV. After playing SR2 I doubt this borefest will ever penetrate my system again.

So yeah, no DLC "With added fixes!" will change my mind.

Has anyone downloaded San Andreas on XBL? I really miss riding motorcycles off that huge mountain. Grand theft auto was fun when it was Zany and full of insanity, not gritty realism. If saint's row 2 has got that then I'd certainly like to try it.

Saint's Row has it, in spades. You can spray shit on people with a septic truck while nude. If that's not the best thing ever, I'd really like to know what is.

I enjoyed playing GTA4. More than I did SR. Since I haven't played SR2, I can't say, in my opinion, it's better or worse. I do believe it brings a different experience.

    Continuing further off topic...

SR2 has what the old GTAs did, and then some. GTAIV moved away from what was cool. All the optional side missions. Tired of running from the cops? Do some ambulance or taxi missions, you can't do that in GTA. SR had bugs and wasn't refined. SR2 seems to have cleaned up it's act with a list of side activities to mess around on.

I'll check out the expansion, but I need to finish GTAIV first.

Personally, I got tired of doing all the side missions. And there are taxi missions that can be done in GTA4. You have to call Roman for work. It's just not counted towards the game completion. I haven't fiddle around with the ambulance or firetruck enough to know if there are any missions for fun, similar to the taxi missions.

Who wants to work for THAT whiney little girl?

They took away the ambulance and firetruck missions. And lets not forget the cherry poppin' missions.

I enjoy jacking cars and getting big bucks for them. Blowing stuff up just to blow stuff up (mayhem). Oh, and you can store as many cars in your "garage" as you want... not just two here or there. I think GTA is trying to recreate itself when it used to be a fun game. Now it is hurry hurry hurry do a mission, go on a date, do a mission...

In SR2, I had stolen 18 cars, done 7 mayhems, and 6 traficking missions before furthering the main story.

Well heres the deal, SR2 is straight over the top action, GTA decided to show off the next gen skills with some realism. The driving in GTA is better and more realistic, the engine is much better as well. I agree that they took out some great things and added some BS (kicking it with friends too much and dating) I also miss customizing the cars and putting some hydros in. They took out the garages as well, but the story is a whole lot better. The City feels like its living and the details are awesome. SR2 is strictly over the top customization and action.

As for the DLC, i really want to try L&D out since im into Bikes, and ever since watching Sons of Anarchy, im ready to ride in formation and blow shit up.

I liked Saint's Row 2 when it was Saint's Row 1. Had they updated the graphics even a little bit, or told me the shit I was playing at PAX wasn't the finished product, I may have picked it up.

The DLC for GTAIV is pretty damn hot, and implemented really well. Riding in a pack is fun as hell, as well as the gang wars. Having a blast getting back into this game. It's also nice to see the original main story from a different point of view.

Well I unexpectedly finished the DLC today. Kind of an anti climactic ending but the game was hella' fun. I'm typing this as the credits roll...what's this, it goes on to a sandbox portion of the game and there's a little man on the map screen up in Northwood...see ya'.

So how long did it take you to finish it? Did you screw around in the city at all or just stick to the storyline missions?

I just put GTA IV in my "Pile of Shame". I will force myself to finish the story so I can play this. It shouldn't be too hard, you play all of the mission variants in the first 30 minutes!

Man, I buy way too much stuff.

Man junk in pixel form...who had to program that. It's true though you'll have to deal with a wiener while playing the story, unnecessary and weird but whatever.
I don't know in hours how much time it took but I do all the side missions and frivolous crap and it took me two days of regular playing to get through it. Worth it if you liked the game.

It may not sound fun, but it is.

Man-penis is a good gimmick for Rockstar to garner publicity. Is this the first penis since Custer's Revenge to appear in a video game?
