Thread: For the one or 2 of you that might care...

Our friends the Dropkick Murphys are coming to our town again. I get to hlep organize a 'meet and greet' with them at the local Irish Cultural Heritage Center. Then its off to drink all their beer backstage lol Another cool thing is that The Tossers and The Briggs are the two opening bands (my wife is in love with the singer of The tossers, and maybe while we're backstage, he can get her off my hands for awhile lol). November 12th is gonna rock!!

Celtic-influenced street-rock, to be exact. Most people just say punk, but that pigeon-holes them.

If you've watched The Departed, you've heard their song 'Shipping up to Boston'. If you've watched that baseball movies about the guy that loves the Red-Sox (some romatic comedy from a couple years back), you'll hear 'Tessie'- which is a song they wrote and guaranteed the Red Sox a world series win. And whattaya know, they won.
