Receiving the email about this post going up reminded me that I might not have shared the good news with everyone here at PGL that my wife and I had our baby - Fiona Noelle - on September 10th. That's the best excuse I have for how little I've been around lately. I'm knee-deep in formula, dirty diapers, and spit-up, and loving every minute of it. My gaming time has been minimal lately, but the time I'm spending with Amy and Fiona is well worth putting a hobby mostly on hold.

I'll keep these updates coming, especially when the next contest is announced. AT&T and CCC give away some sweet phones.

Thanks for sharing Cory. We used to do video chat with my in-laws via the 360 fairly often. We actually just did some video chat this week, it's much better now that the kids are older. The quality of the video on your Mac looked great!

I'm actually kicking around the idea of buying the MW2 Limited edition Elite 360 and then taking my current 360 (launch day first production run) to my parents so we can do video chat that way. On the couch would be more comfortable than in front of the computer.

Video chat on the Mac using iChat is awesome. We use Skype with my parents since they have Windows based PCs at home, and my dad picked up a cheapie $10 web-cam. He said the picture they get from us is almost HD, while ours is just decent from their end, but perfectly good enough that when Fiona is old enough to recognize everyone, it should be pretty exciting.

Good morning everyone. I wanted to take a moment to invite all of you to read a blog over at Calm, Cool & Connected regarding a very important subject. Last week, AT&T launched a campaign to increase awareness on the dangers of texting while driving. I was asked to post a blog about the same topic and to help spread the word. I'm asking all of you to do the same. Share the blog/campaign website information with as many friends and family members as you can. It's a very important topic, as studies have shown that someone texting while driving is 23 times more likely to be in an accident. It seems like common sense, but more and more drivers are embracing technology and ignoring saftey.
