Thread: Overheard at Peench's house

My 6 year old son is like me in that he doesn't sleep very much. We put him in his room to bed in the evening so we can get some stuff done. Lately he's been reading in his room for hours until I guess he gets tired and goes to bed. Every so often he'll come out of his room when he's done reading to "use the bathroom" but really just to see what we're up to and to see what my wife and I might be watching on TV, etc.

The other night we had put my son to bed. My wife was watching TV, I was half-watching while working. I got done with work stuff and headed over to PGL. As I was browsing posts my son came in. It was fairly late and he was trying to avoid having to go to bed. He says goodnight to my wife and then comes over to give me a hug goodnight. He checks out my screen and says:

"wow cool, those PGL guys have a website too? cool."



I said, "yeah, those guys do, they're crazy like that."

Way to keep 'em up to date Peench. Kids are great. They'll blow you away with the things they catch on to on their own. It can be a real curse sometimes, and others you're kinda like, "Did I just hear that right?" Makes parenthood worth it though.

Just don't let him find out about our other site...

Kids are funny.

Now is a good time to teach him ear muffs just tell him if he takes his hands off that his head will explode. It will save you a lot of explaining.

I guess I forgot to add the part that really made this funny. He's seen my hats, shirts and has a few PGL biz cards as bookmarkers so he knows all about PGL. It was just funny the way he put it! haha.

Give him a law book to read. That'll keep him sleepin..

that reminds me of my daughter trying the same thing... damn stall tactics.....i was playing Halo one night and she came down, sits next to me all quiet for a second then sez:

"is that really Bob Saget?"

I would not have been able to hold it in...I hope you at least let her watch for a few minutes

I agree with justin that at least earns her a few minutes of watch time.
