How do I get the cat to the lady? Do I just chase it over there?

You have to go fishing and catch a fish. I caught like 10 fish before it worked for me. I was original fishing by the pier where the cat is staring at the water. I then moved to a different spot and instead if it dropping the fish back into the water (it makes you drop them as it says they are common) it dropped the fish on the land, you'll see what happens next.

Gamecube version (I'm sure it is different on the Wii) Something I didn't get at first for fishing is that it takes no skill at all (which means I couldn't figure it out at first, lol). When you snag something you have to hold the stick, that is it. I thought you might have to time it or tap it, etc. but nope just pull bag and that is it.

LOL, I'm glad I checked this thread. Very beginning of the game and I'm stuck because I'm trying to "herd" the damn cat over the bridge back to the lady and it keeps getting stuck in the water under the bridge. hahaha. Guess it's time to go fishing.

lol! I did the same thing! That cat WILL not get on that bridge! Fishing was hit and miss for me also. I did it once with no problem, then it took a long frustrating time to do it again. Fishing was NOT fun at all....
