The game wasn't terrible. But it wasn't new either. It is a port from Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 from DREAMCAST. That's right... from a system almost 10 years in the past.

The track was changed and the number of cars was cut down dramatically (one of the best things about TXR2/TXRZ(PS2)).

The least they could of done was port over TXR3, TXR Drift, or TXRrift2. (I still own TXRZ, TXR3, TXR D, and TXR D2, it was the best street racing series out there.)


For the price it was an ok game. For the series, I'm glad they didn't put the TXR name on that quick port.

All but the online achievements are attainable within ~30 hours of game play. Online would be attainable, if other people still had this game.
