| PREY was a very good game at the time it was released, but going back now it shows its age a little. The story was decent and the gameplay was original with many different levels where the gravity was kinda whacky. The ability to walk on celings and shoot through portals added some nice chaos to the multiplayer matches.
The online was above average but had a lot of lag issues and dropped connections. on the plus side, there were a couple of diffent map packs and avatars that were made available for free download. The big downside with any older game is that there is NOBODY playing this now online.
All in all, it was a great game and is still worth a rent for the singleplayer, but not a buy unless it can be had for less than $10 |
