| Frosheet Review - Mass Effect Graphics
I'm not to touchy on graphics but for the time they were good, I liked the lighting and enviorments but they could of been a little more polished.
Sound
The audio wasn't to amazing but it wasn't bad.
Replay Value
In my opinion, the first time threw is amazing, the second time threw I liked to try the totally different aproach. After a while, it gets old going to the different systems and exploring, scanning, but if you like detailed descriptions: rest assured, you'll have a blast.
Gameplay & Controls
I've never been much of a fan of squad based combat or having to find different armor, weapons, and mods for these items but it made it slightly interesting. I loved the Mayco, since it is impossible to get the thing on it's back, and trust me - I've tried. The controls for the squad were efficiant and it was novel the way they set up the ammo system. The interactable cutscenes kicked ass, especially in the first part when you beat the crazy guy in the shed's face in. Love it
Single Player
The story delivers, that's all I have to say. It may seem dull and dry on the outside but their is an amazing plot line in this game.
Multiplayer
Albeit there is no multiplayer, I could of seen potential in this game with an online play option.
Overall
This game is a definately delivers but in a nutshell the graphics could of been tweaked a bit better but I'm not one to base an entire game off of graphics. Overall 4.5/5 |
