| It goes without saying that at its release, GOW was one of the best games created for the XBOX 360. So far, with the release of GOW 2 only months away, GOW is standing the test of time and remains one of the most entertaining gaming romps you'll find. | Great singleplayer mode with flawless co-op. The online portion was groundbreaking and original, but I just did not care for it at all. | Loved this one Coop was a blast but would have been better at 4 player. Only knock on Sp was the fact that you only fought 3-4 enemies. | Graphics: Gears is one of the prettiest games out there. There's no agument from me on this point. I'm always impressed on how this game looks.
Sound: Nothing that stands out as awe inspiering. But it's not crap either.
Replay Value: Other than getting all the tags or playing it again /w a friend there's not much else on the SP side of things. MP is where it's at.
Gameplay/Controles: Near perfect, there are some things I didn't like such as the grenade tag stuff. But everything was paced right and responsive enough for me.
Single Player: Short. To short for my tastes. More story and stuff to do would not hurt this game at all. Something I hope is fixed in the second one.
Multiplayer: Aside from the general public it's one of the better games out there. | Still.Fun.Ish!
GOW still rocks, to me the best part is the multiplayer. I only played Coop twice and it was pretty sweet, actually the only time i beat this game was on coop. The singleplayer is short but it had a great story, The controls are ok, are gameplay is top notch. They patched the roadie running up a little with a small update so you wouldnt accidently get caught on a wall, but we all know that still happens. I still play this game almost everyday along with a few other regulars and its usually always a fun time. | Gears
Like many others I guess this was the very first game I bought for my Xbox.Loved it although at the time I could only play the campaign due to not being on line,but I was happy anoth doing just that until I finally had the finance to go live.Over all a beautiful experience,sort but sweet. | | | |
