Hey, do any of you guys play this with the flight stick? I saw the bundle in the store today and thought, "COOL!" I'm sure the stick could only help with precision aiming and maneuvering.

But that $149 price tag blows!

Nah, it seems like a pretty big price tag for just one game. I doubt you'll be able to use it much after this game gets traded in.

But then again, I'm cheap - I won't even buy the wheel and there's a few good games you can use that with.

I've got my copy and a working 360 now. I'm ready to play!

I played using the flight stick at the event Namco/Bandai held at the Miramar air show. It was pretty cool, but I don't think I'd play enough to justify the price tag.

I wonder it's compatible with any other flight games out there like Blazing Angels 2, or if it can be used during H3 multiplayer for piloting the Banshee or the Hornet? Will there be any player controlled aircraft in COD4 (ala the tank chapters in COD2 and 3)? If so, I might just spring for this thing.

I tried to find that out, but all I could really come up with was this FAQ, which mentioned the following:

(Q) Can the flightstick be used for any other game?

(A) Yes and no. As some dumb ass demonstrated online, you can use the
flightstick for Halo 3. The Ace-Edge is another USB controller for the Xbox
360, but whether or not a PS2 or PC (no driver) can recognize the device is
another story altogether.

As for Halo3, I think that's kinda pointless since no flying vehicle really moves all that fast. I know there was also a similar controller made by the same company (Hori) for AC5; if that controller can be used with other games, odds are this one will be eventually, too. Still - $150.00 is way too steep for me.

Cool you all have this game - anyone interested in the coop missions, let's do it! You really need four at least due to the time constraints.

Ubisoft has a Tom Clancy-branded flight sim coming out next year. I'm sure it'll work with that.

Cujo-san. Sorry about the other night. I finished that mission and it said you were in a co-op game, so I jumped back into the SP. What sucks is that the missions are like 30 mins long, so it's so much harder to leave in the middle. The story is lame, but the actual missions are pretty fun.

Keezy, thanks man. We wasted soooo much time waiting around for you that I thought I was gonna cry. You hurt my feelings, just dissing us like that - but whatever.

Think I'm gonna try some o' that sp tonight, in about a half-hour. Maybe opening up some different missile types would help out.

Tom Clancy's Firehawk

It's in either this month, or last month's OXM. Looks pretty good. The HUD is very similar to GRAW's.

I accepted the invite, but it said I was unable to join. Maybe it was a connection issue? Or can you not jump into a game while it's going on?

Sorry fellas. I figured Cujo found another co-op buddy and moved on without me (for some reason, I was thinking it was only 2 player co-op), so I didn't bother sending a message saying I couldn't join.

No problem Keezy, we'll have to give it ago again sometime. If anyone needs the coop battle achievements, post up so we can bang them out, especially before COD4, cause thats the kiss of death for most games!
