Xbox Live Vision Camera!

Does anyone have the Live Vision Camera yet? I had a preorder for one with Amazon, and then they sent me an email saying my estimated delivery wasn't until October since they ran out. So I cancelled the order and purchased one off ebay. I should have it in a few days.

I was going to pick one up today, but apparently MS funked up everyone's orders and no one has one around my area. I think it's a sign. I'll just wait until November when I have to renew my Live membership.

My girlie was going to pick one up for me yesterday but none of the GS's, CC's or BB's in my area had them in stock!

Not sure if they sold out - or never came in...

Anyway - my GS said to check back today, so I'll be calling them this afternoon hopefully doing some Texas No Hold'em Teabagging tonight!!

I just picked one up from Gamestop. I'm gonna try to take another break and get it all hooked up here shortly...

I also went ahead and picked up World Series of Poker... turns out it was only $39.99! I thought it was a $60 game - so that was a nice surprise.

Anyway - I'm not gonna open the poker until I hear if any more Lobbyists are picking it up - so let me know if ya do (in the poker thread).

Quick update on the camera...

It worked pretty good in my low-light FP environment. It will be interesting to see if that holds up tonight when it's really DARK!

I played some UNO - everyone was rocking the cams in there... made it more amusing.

The camera is MUCH MUCH smaller than what I thought it would be - given the pictures on the web. Folks in UNO were saying the same thing. I mean - it's like have the size of my little finger in width! Makes it MUCH slicker!

The focus ring is REALLY annoying - especially for folks like us that have a bigger room setup. I guess if you have someone with you to help focus it, that will be better. But it my case it was sit down - out of focus - get up - move the ring - sit back down - still outta focus - rinse & repeat.. :P

I'm diggin the novelty of it so far though.

Word is (from someone in Uno) that the XBLA Texas Hold'em didn't have live video yet only a still picture.. Not sure if that's true, haven't tried it yet.

Hmmmm... I DID!! I know know why it's not showing up on my gamercard thing...

It's showing the custom picture on my blade... I'm guessing they won't show custom pictures on the gamercard thing - no way to block the pr0n ones with that I'm guessing...

from what i understand, only friends can see your pic... so in this "open" environment, we won't see your pic. everyone on your FL will be able to see it when they're on live, though

I tried to see if it would show the custom one on Xbox.com and it did not. It only showed the same helmet shown here. It did tell me that I had a message w/ image attached, but that I could only view it on my 360. I can't wait to fire it up and see what you zoomed in on!!

Score, I found one after going to like 5 stores yesterday. Works pretty good but because I sit so far away it is not that great. Zoom is a bit too pixelated. Slid the ottoman up and all was good though not the general gaming lounge act I prefer. I also PM'd someone on my friends list who was playing WSOP and they gave me the thumbs up so the wrap is coming off.....

Checked BB and Fry in Concord, CA today. NONE! One of the guys at Fry's is trying to find out what the deal is from his corp.

I am wondermonkeying if this is a regional distribution issue...Who has a camera so far and in what part of the country. If you do get one please let us know.
