Using the born on dates and the failures listed on page 1, those are the failure rates graphically. It seems that in 2006, there were only 4 consoles that failed. And no one has a console built in 2007 despite it being September.
Mine was made in October 2006, so I hope it'll make it for Halo 3.

I just added every console that was listed on the front page which for many includes their second box dying. There's no way that the front page has all of them though.

I belive mine was born around March 20th 2006, it is dying now and I dont know how much longer it will last so I am having it put down. First time it died was September 7, 2007. I was able to rececitate but who knows how much longer it has, I am no doctor I just know CPR.
A newborn will be coming down the pike soon.
I just realized that this very well may make my current 360 zombie... It should be dead but somehow it lives, maybe I should donate it to science instead of sending it to the old folks home.

we have another failure! My brothers box was born on 09-20-06 and died on 09-09-07. It has been sent in for repair.

Well I decided to try something new and bought an Elite this morning, it's born on date is 6-16-07. I never added my premium system to this list either so it's born on date is 3-13-06, and still going.

well I'm sorry I didn't know.
well mine was still born so it doesn't even matter anymore, I don't think I will end up with a halo edition after my trip to the game store today.
Edit:
figured I would check before I leave to return it, Mine was born on august 1st. Then died whenever it was beaten up during shipping.
