Mine died on Friday night. E 74. I think I just overworked it. Going from a smallish standard TV to a 30 inch HD set and player in two weeks was probably too much for the AV decoder.

Ok, my replacement 360 just died. Called MS, they're sending me a empty box so I'm sending it back. According to the agent, turnaround time is about two weeks.

I got the dreaded three red rings again today along with more weird sounds and freezing. The system either won't turn on or will not get out of the XBOX 360 intro screen without freezing and making sounds like its about to blow. Somehow, I feel relieved about this cause the 360's been freezing a lot during gameplay lately.

Anyways, I'll catch up with you all on PGL until I get my next unit. See you on Live in two weeks......

Mine failed last week, as some of you know... BOD was 10/14/05. Should also note my brother's failed a month ago and he got his mid '06, but BOD was 10/12/05 on his. hmmm

My console just died last night, so this will be my fourth replacement. I'll let you know when I get my system back or if I just go out and buy a brand new 360 with an instore warranty.

11-14-05. No major problems. Just a couple a red lights from power up (lower right corner); but goes away by turning off and turning on.

no problems. Mine, like Lovekeiiy's, will get the three red lights on power up from time to time, but it has never failed on a restart.

I bought a new system last night. 10/9/06 date. I'll sell my refurbed system at one of the game stores most likely. I'm tired of dealing with Microsoft for repairs.

You guys are not going to believe this one. I bought my brand new system on Saturday night. Sunday night while playing Halo 2 my controller disconnects so I try to reconnect it by pressing A, but it didn't work. I look at the console and the ring of light is off. I turn it off, then back on and the rol is still off. Unplug the console, same thing. Funny thing about this is the console would turn on fine, the ROL would not. Without the ROL the controller can not sync to the console.

Anyway I returned the system yesterday and got a full refund so now I'm on the hunt for another system with a mfg. date of 2007 if that's possible.

BTW, I just got my box in from MS to return my old system.
