I think that with the additions their making just for multiplayer such as vehicles, ranking system, etc. make this title a no brainer. FNFF this fall will rock!!!!!!!

Yes, I have played all of the COD series on the PC prior to going to the console. The WWII scenario is just getting tad old for me. I get tired and I know people in this househould get tired of hearing.... "Gerries!"

I do plan on getting COD3 but I am not excited as I once was. It is catching up to me from all the WWII games I have played on the PC. Remember the onslaught of WWII games coming to the PC? I played majority of them.

Maybe I just need a break from the WWII scenarios for a short stint??? I think that's why R6 appeals to me a bit more.

The CoD games could be set in any century and during any war, it wouldnt matter to me. I also played all the same WWII games but its the frantic battles and the ai I love. I don't approach it as playing a WWII game at all. I can never get sick of a game that plays and looks as good as these do

I think that's my problem too... all the World War II games. I remember in the onslaught of them for the PC it was a welcome change when Battlefield Vietnam came in.

I dunno, it's also the weapons. I love modern weaponry more. Technology is more interesting as opposed to the old school weapons. Give me a good m4a1 or a MP5 or even an M16 and I am good to go!

You are all in timeouts. Im Joining Brews club and demanding you all get CoD 3, these WWII excuses don't cut it anymore!

I like modern weapons more as well, but no game is as fast paced and aggressive, thats what draws me to it. The only others that are as frantic would be Unreal Tourneys, and while I adore those, they arent gritty like CoD and their fake weapons get old after awhile.

I have a man-crush on General George S. Patton. They should make a WWII game where he walks around the battlefield doing fatalities on Germans and the Japanese.

My problem with WWII is that I know what happened. I'm aware of the outcome, so there's no surprise left in it for me. No more pizazz! What they need to do is throw the surprise element back in there. Like, in one of levels you don't have grenades but instead you have kittens. Not only would that confuse the enemy, but I think they could really utilize the 5.1 for that.

I'll eventually get COD3, no doubt... with or without kittens.

I find myself somewhat turned off by "fast-paced" FPSs... only because I suck at them hardcore!

I'm with Brew and Spoon. COD2 on the 360 was the first FPS since the original Half Life that I really liked. Not sure what it was about this game, but it was a complete blastee (threw a little Dane in there for keez).
