Thanks for the correction. I should've stated 'wireless'. Or is it because I was stuck at Verizon for 2.5 hours going through another phone deal just because we wanted to add another line.

nah, it probably won't be a problem. I have a HS850 BT headset for my phone and it's probably about that same size, maybe even shorter... have no problems with people hearing me on it!

I think that depends on a number of factors, including your voice, your normal speaking volume, size of your head, and the current standard deviation of the IQ's of all players included in your party...

I've had a ton of different headsets and I have had a lot of trouble with people hearing me. Personally I have found that the shorter mics usually don't work for me... but I'll be the first to admit that that could be related to the quality of the mic rather than its distance from my mouth. I have a large head (LOOK AT THE SIZE A' THAT BOY'S 'ED!) and my ear is a long way from my mouth. Sometimes when I speak I count one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, three... before I hear what I said... well, you get the idea.

I have the H2 headset, which alot of people like. Even with it and its long mic boom, I have trouble sometimes because I have to keep the mic positioned right in front of or beside my mouth for people to hear me well. IMO, they need some kind of gain adjustment on these things to help us big-headed, low-talkers out.

I'm looking forward to trying this one out, but from the looks of it... I'm not holding my breath. At least if I don't like it, you won't hear me complaining...

It'll be interesting to see how it works, I hope especially at the price point that it will work out for ya! 60 bones for the headset is pretty pricey..

On the weekends I'm really quiet because my nieces spend the night and they are sleeping by the time I get on. During the week I talk pretty hearable(word?) My big ass head is gonna swallow that headset

In Major's latest Podcast he discusses the quality of this headset. He says it's really good quality, but he's also an MS guy, but he's ragged on MS products before.

He also said that you won't be able to use it until after the Fall Dashboard Update.
