Word on the street is that the Saint's Row patch is imminent.

You didn't hear it from me... and I was never here.

I wish I had a legitimate source to quote or something. Volition won't confirm it, but if you read between the lines over at their developer's forum, the patch has been sent over to micro$oft for testing/approval. Strikes me as funny. Microsoft approved it in the first place, right...? So what's the big deal?

Evidently micro$oft has a history of taking a long time with approvals, so don't hold your breath. Still, it's imminent.

I hope the patch fixes the lag problem for good. I was playing BAC the other day and some guy way pwning everybody because he would come near you and lag away. He returned like 30 chains at once or some shit, I guess he had host advantage(rape).

Yeah, without a private match you can't really play SR online at all. It takes way too long to get all the players ready as well, even when it has an even number it waits for a full room.

sooo...does imminent mean like soon? Cause still no patch as of an hour ago. But what do I care, I finally finished taking out all of the other gangs, and I still have like 35% left before I beat the game, so I have plenty of single player action left.

DLitch: sounds like the "standbying" thing, which is prevalent for the cheaters right now. Supposedly th epatch takes care of that.

This patch is taking almost as long as the COD2 one. Stinks that they can't ship a working product in the first place, but I suppose that's the nature of the beast.

I've been waitin on this damn so called 'patch' to come out since 2 days before game release (when i got my copy lol). It not only annoys the hell outa you cuz you cant play the game and show off yer skill properly, but people have reported me for UNSPORTING saying i was cheating? I never cheat in anything, especially not online. Im guessing some dumbass thaught i had hacked the game and made everyone appear to be standing still so i could kill them all. But id played a few games where that happened and i knew what to do so i just killed everyone. Now i got a whole heap of Unsporting on my back

That's lame!! Yeah, I've been tempted to call other people cheaters after playing that game - where it seems as if I'm standing still and they are running around invisibly killing off everyone and scoring. But I know at this point its simply the game and wouldn't give anyone negative feedback for it.

I'm happy to be here also. I watched that youtube video about 20 times, because it was so in-game casual mate muck about-like (you get what im sayin i hope) that i couldnt stop laughing. Its that kinda gamer sense of humour i guess.
