Rockstar Games announces Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition

Other than case being kind of cool, it's a whole of BS for $30. Then again, I'm not a big fan of BS. I prefer very good game with little problems in the gold edition. Just call me wierd that way.

I was READING and was like Hell yah for $69.95 Im down for that, And it would be my first special edition, BUT then it said $89.95 DAMN!!!!, thats 2 games.

damn them....I want that Box and DUFFEL!!!! ill probably sell my Duffel to a Kid whos mom didnt buy him GTA IV for $25

I'm a little surpised that the Special Edition doesn't come with a small packet of coffee beans as well, so you can make your own hot coffee...

It's tough for me to justify spending the extra cash on something that will just sit there... but to each his own. Now if it were a cat helmet or some other kind of pet-torture device, that'd be different.

do you plan on getting the Halo 3 legendary edition with the Helmet, you could probably fit a whole cat in there.

It's a pretty hot special edition for people that like GTA. Personally, I'll stick with the cat helmet and get a couple of Legendary editions and build a tiny Spartan army.







The lock box is pretty sweet though...

I'm a whore for special cases and collector's editions. I imported a special version of MGS3 that included a Snake action figure w/ croc hat. It ran me $120, but it was worth it. To each his own, I know a lot of ex-friends that are buying the standard edition of Halo 3(notice I said ex-friends).

I'm not knocking peoeple for wanting it. I was just commenting, that overall, all that stuff is a bunch of crap, per se. But some people love it, ie..d litch. And if it makes him happy to have it, cool.

Personally, I'd rather spend the money on a game, trains, or some other kind of toy.

I'm sure it will look sexy as hell with the rest of the stuff on your self. Just like there may be some people who view all the model train stuff I have as crap. Crap's beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The only thing they offer I think is more lame than normal is the duffel bag. I know I would probably never use; at least not very often. They rest of the stuff is pretty par for the course with the special edition stuff being released. So it's almost anticlamatic.

I think it ties up the "heist" theme very nicely. You can't jack a safety deposit box without something to carry it in. You clearly don't rob banks very often.

So Thats What jack was talking about, First they TRain you How to rob in GTA IV, Then they let you go do it in real life, and you put all the Booty in your Duffel, Then you Take it back to the Hideout, (Your Mums house), And stash all the Goods in the Safety deposit box they sent you!

For Halo you get a Bullet proof helmet to go to war with!
