Have any of our VGA users noticed a difference in color and black level with the spring dash update? Apparently, this cat has:

I'm still trying to figure out how this dude was able to download the Forza2 demo and not update the dash. Can you actually not update the dash when prompted and still access Live? Anyway, here is the Flick feed.

I heard that they "fixed" some VGA bugs with this update. Perhaps the after is the way the game is supposed to look?

I believe you can skip the update and access XBL. I had to stop the update, and was able to continue on whatever I was doing. You can either not update when it ask if you want or cancel during the download.

I did do the update. I didn't notice really graphically better using the VGA. But I haven't played any games that I played before the update. I think the updates are more for resolution issues.

botman. You know that you have to select one of three presets in the display "blade". Yeah, you'll wanna play a game your familiar with then try another preset then play again.

I don't recall seeing any display blade. When I went to display under system settings, it was like for a regular desktop computer where you pick your resolution. Under the component cable, or at least time I used it, you picked for format such as 1080i or p, 720p, etc.

I'll check it out further tonight.

I was going from memory but now I'm using my 360. Go to console settings then Display and you'll see "black level" click that then take your pick of Standard-Intermediate-Extended. those have no effect on componant hook up but will your VGA. sorry I can't test. hope it helps your pic

I don't really have an eye for this ish, but I will check it out tonight. I think right now, it's on medium for me.
