MS gets playable version of Fable 2!

Lionhead sent off Fable 2 for its First Playtest! Huge news for us Fable fanatics!

"The FP is important during the development of any videogame; it consists of just a few areas, that are fully functional, this allows the team to work on the major components and basics of Fable 2 and get them to a stage where the game is completely playable for the first time," said Sam van Tilburg, head of communities at Lionhead, in the update.

Huge news, indeed. Definitely my most anticipated game on the 360...or at least top 3. Sorry, other games started creeping into my brain after I stated that

I'm looking forward to Fable 2 as well but I'm trying to read as little about it as possible since there was so much build up for Fable (Project Ego) only to have maybe a 10th of what was promised. I really enjoyed Fable for what it was, and think that if I keep away from all the hype I'll probably be blown away by Fable 2.

I ran through the original Fable numerous times. I loved the fact that it was an RPG with real-time combat... Coupled with real-time weapon change, it ended up being a real blast! Can't wait for the next one!

The real-time weapon change had a few kinks though, but I have faith that the team will iron them out.

Fable was a blast to play, so much in that I didn't want it to end. I'm eagerly anticipating Fable 2.

I never got into the first one very much. I just rented it, so maybe I just didn't give it enough time.

I absolutely loved Fable, I played that game through and through!! seriously one of my favorite games EVER! I love the Halo series and Fable is right behind it if not equal and I played Oblivion but still can't compare to how much I loved Fable. Fable I was not a flop what so ever, even though it was a little short and wasn't what was expected but I still loved it and even though people still has criticism about Fable II not being that great I know that I will still absolutely love it cuz it is still going to be incredibly ****ING awesome. I've been following Fable II for almost 2 years now since I first heard anything about it. I pretty much seriously know everything there is about it that has gotten out about it I and I'm sure that Fable II will be my all time favorite game! I don't really consider Fable to be an RPG game cuz I consider RPG games for like pokemon and Final Fantasy (which I really do not like FF) because you don't actually fight in the battles, you just tell them what action to do then they go and and do it then the other person goes and it'll say some shit like "-55" or "miss" which is lame, but I digress Fable II is going to be ****ing awesome!! It has been killing me!!! I downloaded Fable II Pub Games the exact minute that it popped up on arcade and I've got it fully beat (glitch helped) I seriously am going crazy waiting for this game to come out and co-op will seriously be ****in awesome and it doesn't do like gauntlet legends or what ever with the view on co-op. I havent pre-ordered it yet even though I a huge ****ing fan cuz I just got a $150 ticket and just paid off a $50 stupid seat belt ticket and then the $50 internet bill and I have to pay for stupid incredibly expensive college books so money is tight but I'll definately be preordering the Special Edition set!!!

I'm new to forums (of any kind so sorry if I'm not cool enough ha)
