IGN gave Guitar Hero 2 on the 360 a 9.4 and stated this is the best version to date. There will also be more downloadable songs available via Xbox Live a week after the release.
I have to admit I doubted this game and thought it was kind of gimmicky, but after playing the PS2 version at a friend's house I'm totally sold on it. I couldn't get enough of this game and it really does feel like you are playing it. There are alot of good rock songs and with achievements it's only going to make this game even more addicting!

| I love this game on PS2, and I will definitely be picking it up soon. I beat Jordan on Expert at my buddies house. | |

| This game looks awesome. I have never played it, but have seen it played now a few times and must say it looks incredibly addicting! My local store was sold out of pre-orders so hopefully they will have some in soon so I can pick one up. | |

| I've been enjoying some of the video clips on it. The only thing holding me back is that I read the guitar is not wireless. It makes it almost counter 360. I read it could have been because MS didn't want to license the wireless technology; doesn't make sense since the 3rd party controllers are still radio, not infarred. I suspect Activision focuses on gameplay and graphics over the controller. I wireless guitar would have totally rocked though. | |

I've been playing drums for 27 years and I bought a guitar and a bass two years ago and have been teaching myself how to play them also. But somehow I just think being a 47 year old man I will feel to foolish playing a video game holding a plastic toy guitar. It would probably be an easy 1000 gamerscore points , but I think I'll have to pass.

| NPYYZ, I remember your kick-butt drumset! Those might've been at the other website that I saw them, but they were pretty awesome!
I know the feeling about feeling foolish with a plastic "Short" guitar, though!

| Don't worry about looking foolish. We saw Peter Moore jam out on this thing a few weeks back and he looked nothing like a fool. He was jamming and the crowd was pumped! It was actually really cool. | |
