Microsoft is amazing!

Did you know that, not only did MS create a console that most of us love, but they also have the ability to go back in time? The got my 360 on Friday, 3/30 and sent me an e-mail letting me know that I'd be "back to gaming soon." Then, today I get an e-mail saying that the box is being sent back to me and I should expect it in 2-5 days. (That's some very impressive turn-around time, by the way. They must have fired it up, seen the rings o' death, and sent out a replacement.)

Here's the content of the e-mail that demonstrates their time traveling abilities:

"Your Xbox Video Game system has been shipped! You can expect to receive it in 2-5 days. Thank you for your patience and get ready to get back into the action! Your shipping information is provided below for your reference:

Carrier Name: blah blah blah
Carrier Tracking Number: blah blah blah blah
Shipment Date: 2007-03-22 19:57:09"

How did they ship it out to me on the 22nd, when they didn't even get it until the 30th? Amazing!

Anyway, looks like you'll have me to push around again soon.

With the way their systems have failed they have now implemented a software upgrade to detect when your 360 will die you got that update with the most recent download. LOL

You know, I think that I've had something similar to that before, but never really thought much of it.

Of course, if anyone mentions anything odd about their returned 360s or the process thereof, I can probably relate to every story and/or incident!

When mine was returned, I left a note on our door also to deliver it next door -- instead the driver just left it on my porch without a signature.

Son of a...! I get home from work today, and they haven't even attempted to deliver it yet. So, I get on and track it, and here's what I see:

THE ADDRESS LABEL IS MISSING OR ILLEGIBLE;THE ADDRESS HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE DELIVERY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED

Are you freaking kidding me? I call up and see what brown can do for me, and they say that they have expedited delivery for tomorrow. What? So I asked if they could hold it at the hub nearby and let me pick it up. She put the request in and I should hear back from them in an hour to let me know if they can do that or not.

I have my doubts that they'll be able to pull this off...

Okay, I take it all back. I just got a call and they'll have it ready for me between 7 and 9 tonight for pick up. They called me very quickly; impressive!
