| Will GTA4 be huge? ... or has Rockstar fallen too far? I was aware of the hot coffee scandal and grew to distrust politicians even more for their reactions as a result. But I was unaware of much of the history of Take 2 and Rockstar. I came across THIS ARTICLE today. It is a long read (maybe 10 minutes or so), but interesting.
Do you think Rockstar has fallen too far or will GTA4 be as huge of a hit?

| I can't say for sure until I see the trailer(site is down), I think it will definitely be good. My worry is that they will try to change up the formula too much. | |

| The sound didn't add too much really. The graphics looked pretty awesome. I hope the gameplay is fun. | |

| Well, the game will be huge. This is because since GTA3, the game has done well and been very fun. Thus, people will buy based on those previous experiences.
If it fails to meet or exceed those expectations, it will hurt the next iteteration more. It's one of the most highly anticipated games since system launch. The only 360 game I can think that is more anticipated is Halo 3. Maybe GOW may have been too. It's going to make money..a lot of it.

The graphics don't impress me. If you look at high rez shots of the trailer, you can see that everything is basically still flat, the buildings, the streets, etc. Where's the bump mapping, environment maps, etc. No reflections on the windows. The textures are still low rez garbage. Hopefully this isn't a representation of the final graphics. http://screenshots.teamxbox.com/scre...Theft-Auto-IV/
And this is the same graphics engine that made up Table Tennis?
