I have about 3-4 ranks to move up in the Dark Brotherhood, and then I want to finish the questline. I must know what goes down in Tamriel!
Anyway, I'm stuck on a Dark Brotherhood quest. I'm on the job where I must go to the Imperial City and kill an Elf (Farian is his name I think), but I can not kill him out in the open or with any witnesses or I don't get my bonus. Anyhow, I do some digging and detective work and find out he's alone at a certain place in the Talos Plaza (I think). When I go there, I get a green arrow signifying that something is there, but he's nowhere to be found!
I'm at wits end trying to figure this out. Maybe someone can help me. I hope it's not a glitch as I refuse to start the game over. Thanks for any help.

| Is there an upstairs/downstairs where he may be. I am assuming you checked all over the tavern, but that is my only guess right now | |

I may have to try talking to him or killing him at his wife's place. Need to get the achievements for this game. I'll be 10 shy in the end because of a glitch in a fighter's guild quest. Not going to worry about it.

| No the fghter guild deals with a cave where you have to go rescue some people who went there but have not returned. If you visited this cave before getting the quest you were screwed, as when would would go on the quest nobody would be inside of the cave. So you were pretty much stuck on that one. | |

| Oh, I have about 200 saves, so I'd still be golden if that happened. Speak of the devil, I'm on that mission now. Trolls suck! | |

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Hill Valley, 2015 Age: 25 | Thanks for the help guys. I finished this and a few other Dark Brotherhood quests last night. I enjoyed the "Treasue in the house" too.
I have over 150 saves and I'm not going to go through the trouble of trying to figure out which one is connected to the Fighter's Guild one. I'm pretty sure I explored that cave early on.
Oh well, I have two more ranks to go and then on to the main questline!
