Looks like all three, sold in a single package, will be further delayed to Fall 2007 (story, from Blues News).

And by fall, it appears they mean November 2007. Personally, I'm quickly losing interest. They continously delay this product. By the time it ships, they'll include 8 different games and an original xbox console.

Something I'm amazed by: Valve has partnered with EA for distribution on this. EA is notorious for pushing unfinished product out the door... so if they're already delaying it, gee whiz, are they just not far along on this at all, or is Valve just seriously sticking to their guns and saying "Hey, when it's done it's done"?

I think valve has a bigger hand on when it actually comes out, which is why it is delayed. If EA were more of an influence in this decision, obviously, they would've released it already..

Isn't that what happen when HL2 realeased on the Xbox. I think it was to close to Halo 2 but I'm not sure

No, HL2 on the OG Xbox was cock-blocked by the 360 launch.

Halo 2 came out a week before Half Life 2, 11/9/04 and 11/16/04 respectively.

What sucks is that this is essentially a port, which means the product is old already. The longer they wait, the older it gets. Portal should be fresh though, and HL2 is a pretty damn great game.

I'd rather it come out when it is ready... but I'm sure all parties involved would like it to come out when the market needs a FPS. November is not that time.

Damn, it saddens me so when I read that EA has something to do with a game I once loved. I have to go cry now.
