I usually tend to stay away from games that don't allow private lobbies (I haven't found anything about FFoW having a private lobby yet), but this game is looking too damned awesome to keep that personal preference.
If you don't know anything about the game, check HERE.
There's gonna be a lot of different classes and vehicles, drones, etc. It's supposed to be a bit like BFMC...

But I too have been keeping tabs on this game(Frontlines:fuel of War). The makers of this game did the same work for BF desert storm Mod (I believe) They left EA and created Kaos Studio (Which is a part of THQ)
I go to this from my FFOW info...Check it out http://www.frontlineswar.com/

I just remember those BHD days and I really, really love huge team battles and that alone has pushed me over to get this game. I liked BFMC but not enough to buy it. For whatever reason I just didn't care for the graphics & "loose" feel of the aiming. Plus that damned red dot over the enemy...
Slap me silly & call me Susan, but I'd rather not know where they are until I run face to face into them, not see them across the map. But I digress -
FFoW looks like it has the graphics & depth that I don't think I've seen in any large-scale battle game. Plus, the need for teamwork really has me looking forward to it.

| BFMC might have been fine if EA had actually put some time and energy into it to make it a decent game. They botched it big time. I had such high hopes! I might have to check it out if it will be similar.. but not having private lobbies might make it get old really quickly with all the team killing, etc. | |

And why would they not have private lobbies? It made no sense with BFMC, why now? I mean, if it's about stats, just diable the stupid things in private lobbies... I just don't understand some developers. EA is the mack-daddy of dummy developers, of course... but others do it too. Makes you wonder if they ask anyone about anything before or after they release...

If they servers were not crap and the clan feature worked like it was supposed to...Then it could have been a very good game.

On a side note - check out this video I found showing some fun remote toys you'll be able to operate. Looks a bit choppy, but gives you a good idea...

PS: Is BHD short for Delta Force: Black Hawk Down? I rented that a few months after it's release and climbed to the top of the leaderboards during my time with the game . I've also been playing the Delta Force games since the begining, go Novalogic! My favorite was Task Force Dagger.

Yup. BF:2142 was only on the PC, right? FFoW will be on the PC as well as the 360 (not sure about PS3).

Apparently it's also going to have a 360 beta phase, I just don't know when yet.
