Its gotta be something in the water. Jon kills off his 4th 360; Breath sends me a message saying his 360 is locking up; my 360 freezes and goes to a grey screen when trying to accept an invite. I turned it off and got in one game before it froze up in the lobby of COD2. Here's what it looked like:

So I'm 360-less for now. I have overlapping warranties. A year long warranty with EB Games that does not expire until November 22, 2006, and a 2 year with MS that does not expire until February 22, 2008. I'm hoping that I will be able to drop by EB and swap out my dead one for a new one tomorrow and then transfer the rest of my MS warranty to the new console. If not, I guess I'm buying new warranties again.

So I hope to be be back up and running soon and I also hope that whatever bug is going around, your 360's don't catch it!

Sorry to hear about this Peench. Last night when you first logged in to Live, we spoke and you told me how your 360 was acting up. Shortly after, I couldn't get into any of the COD2 lobbys so i decided to call it a night. This morning I woke up and turned on my 360 and read your message. Bummer..

Nah, sorry for your loss...hope you get a quick turnaround from EB. I've got mixed feelings about mine...been freezing up lately, and I'd just really like to get a new unit so I don't have to worry about this one. I think I have 2 months left on my warranty now that MS has extended everyone's.

I cried a little last night. Everyone who has lost one knows the feeling. The worst part of it is waiting though, and since you should be able to circumvent that, I don't feel nearly as bad for you!

It must of been that 5 on 3 Headquarters match. You play unfair, your 360 knows and punishes you!
