Call From Gamestop/EB

Hey I got a call from the automated Gamestop number, but didn't answer it. I thought it was strange that they would call. Did anyone else get a call tonight? I'm dying to know what it had to say. Crackdown a week early?

EDIT: I just realized I don't have the Crackdown pre-ordered from there. The only thing I do have is Halo 3. I'm thinking that it may have just been solicitation asking me to trade ish in or something.

Tip:Never give EB or Gamestop your real #. They've been known to sell numbers to 3rd party solicitors.

I don't get calls when I pre-order, so I don't know. But, when I worked there I heard that's what they did.

It was, I got it too. It was the automated lady, who is smoking hot as far as I can tell. She was just calling to remind you that when you do have games to trade, bring them in, because EB will give you very little money for them and turn around and make quite a profit on them. She didn't say that in so many words, but she wanted to.

She is hot. I think her name was Cara or something. She called me about Rainbow Six, and we've been talking ever since.

I'm glad she didn't leave a VM about it. At least they have something right in that they only leave a VM if it is about a game coming in.

Only time I ever got a call was when they thought I reserved 6 copies of Gears. You can tell that employee was an idiot.
