Guitar Hero headed to 360

Everyones favorite Guitar game is headed to the 360 in 2007. I've personally never played it(for obvious reasons) but that may change once it arrives on a console I own

Question...does the game make use of real quitar playing abilities? I honestly have no idea how the game is played.

Kotick confirmed that Guitar Hero would appear "on every significant new format", while discussing intentions for yearly updates and building franchises across a number of key Activision titles.
