It’s time to put the pedal to the metal! We are quickly approaching the launch of “Forza Motorsport 2,” the second iteration in one of the greatest racing simulator franchises of all time.

First off, it has been confirmed that “Forza Motorsport 2” will be available at North American retailers in May 2007. As you know, “Forza Motorsport 2” is one of the most anticipated racing titles of the year. With its extensive customization options, unparalleled physics, 300+ car roster, force feedback, Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel support and Xbox Live capabilities, “Forza Motorsport 2” stands to be the most realistic racing simulator, across all platforms, in 2007.

Secondly, the track list for “Forza Motorsport 2” is now available on Forzamotorsport.net. Be sure to check out the site for all the latest details on the game’s 12 environments and more than 45 ribbons.

Be glad you bought your wheel already. You can bet once this game releases, the wheel will be scarce.

It was funny when I went to the MS store a couple days ago I saw like 50 of them stacked up everywhere. I almost bought one but resisted.

I thought it was going to be released in March I guess they pushed it back a couple of months, either way I can't wait to get it.

Is it true that they cut out or removed some of the features of the upcoming sequel?????????

I didn't hear of major cuts but, I'll try searching them out and posting them back here if I find any!

I remember reading about them two weeks ago. They cut some new eye candy out of it and downgraded the 4X MSAA to 2X. Cut the amount of new cars, etc.

Dang, that's unfortunate.... I hope it didn't take a huge toll on the "look" of the game.
