I honestly thought we were talking about a Sonic demo for the Arcade. I didn't know you were talking about the next-gen version.

For those of us at E3....does anyone know if this is the E3 version?

All I know is that Sonic is much more difficult in 3D when there's a camera to concern yourself with. I played this before coming into the office this morning. I wish Breath was right in that it were an Arcade version of the old school Sonic. I liked those much better.

Besides, it looks no different than the Sega Dreamcast versions.

I thought the frame rate or something was off but this game made me sick... My son seemed to like it so maybe I'll get it for him. There is no way I could play it.

Speaking of DC versions, my cousin Eric who was 9 years old at the time of the games launch, got motion sickness while playing and puked in my room while playing.

Back on topic, this doesnt looks leaps and bounds better than the DC version. You'd think it would seeing as its been 7 years, but *maybe* thats just a testament to how good the Dreamcast was

I liked the demo, however the camera was too slow to keep up with the rest of the game. Could'nt really tell if I was coming or going at times making it not so enjoyable.

I think that's been one of the biggest problems with all of the latest Sonic games I've tried. Camera cannot keep up, especially these 3D ones as opposed to the side scrollers.

Jon I'm glad you just posted. Did you play it. I thought it LOOKED very sharp and wanted you to post your opinion. Camara is difficult but I can't understand why a couple guys poo pooed the graphics. I know it only matters what I think, but still!

I thought the graphics where very good... I just though as soon as he started moving it made motion sick... It didn't seem to affect my son however.

I didn't think the graphics were bad at all, but man, that little Hedgehog moves much to fast. Maybe I'm just getting old but DAYUM, I couldn't even control it. I felt like I was driving with Dangerkitty, I had to turn it off.

I personally loved the demo. I played it a good 5 or 6 times. It's pretty fun once you get the hang of the homing thing, which makes it feel almost like an SSX game or something at times.

It isn't perfect, but I enjoyed it. I think this was the same level offered at E3, but there was another level at E3 as well....one where you played as the white Sonic, who has psychic abilities and such.
