360 Mic Not Working & issues with new Maps

I was playing some COD and my mic just stop working out of the blue. I could hear everything fine but the Mic is not working. Anybody have any idea what happen? Also lately when I play COD it won't let me play any of the new Maps and I have all of them. I just started having these issues do you think my system is going or maybe the harddrive?

I have had sporadic trouble with COD2 also. My mic clicks alot and the map thing happened a bunch awhile ago. Only way I could get into those rooms was to download the maps over again(only took a minute).

Christian,
It may sound overly simple, but make absolutely sure the mic is plugged all the way in. Mine slips out from time to time and the result is the same. If that's not it, your mic boom may have been twisted one too many times. The mics aren't the most durable things unfortunately.

As far as the COD2 maps go, alotof guys have had that problem. I think the solution was to download them again. If I remember right, you won't be charged for them. and really you won't even download them. The system will reload them and you'll be able to play them again.

Let me know if you still have trouble, we'll get it figured out. I didn't realize you are in South carolina. What part?

I've had both happen as well. The mic thing i can't explain...I don't think it's game related because I've had it happen in Halo 2 as well.

As far as the maps...I've had that happen 2 or 3 times. I just restarted and the problem cleared up. I haven't had to go as far as downloading them again.

The mic connection has always been flaky for me as well, I would unplug it and plug it back in.....
