She can read somewhat, and can use the 360 controller quite well. Would the "idea" of the game be above a person of this age?
She can play Nintendogs if that has any bearing....
Thanks! | |

This game has frustrated me on many occassions.

| I think it might be tough as I too have had occasion to ponder WTH while playing the game. That being said, my kids often surprise me at what they can accomplish. And when I was visiting my wife's family this past year, the kids there were playing this horse game on the Gameboy that required you to build a horse training facility and train horses and stuff. They were kicking my arse. I say you'd probably be surprised at how well she plays it. | |

He was suspended for two weeks for his pirate like actions. Not sure if it was one week per punch though. Maybe Billy the bully plays Saints Row?
Thanks for the info Wondermonkey. I was thinking that the game might be to complicated with all the combinations/interactions and such. Now that I have a Wii, I think I can look to the Gamecube world for a game gift. Chicken Little here I come!

My son the first time playing it made it all the way to the last matches. So I guess what I'm saying there are things that make us go huh... Make logical since to a 6 or 8 year old. I'm planning on getting this for my kids this xmas.

all this talking about the wii makes me sad, just think there's a wii upstairs in my house which could be being played right now but instead its just sitting there making me wish it was xmas sooner.
oh yeah and i was thinking about getting viva pinata aswell, would u guys reccommend it ? yay or nay....

| I like it and NIN liked it and Monkey, Crippler and their wives liked it. In fact, everyone I know has liked it except Rhinochaser. If you like sim-style games, Viva Pinata has been described as "gaming crack" by more than one person. | |

| "Gaming Crack" is right!!! Once you pick it up and get things going it's very hard to put it down. It's like Animal Crossing meets the sim style world of things. So many things to do in the game it can be overwhelming sometimes. | |

I find myself thinking, "what the heck was my goal here?" after stopping whatever it was to heal pinatas, sell fruit, try to stop fights, make sure ALL the whirlms aren't eaten, build a house for the lickatoads, sell the preztails before they eat all but one of the friggin rabbits, figure out why the blackberry bush and the hazelnut tree grew up but never produced fruit...
That sentence could go on for literally three pages. I'm thinking about selling almost everything in my garden to restart with a little cash flow and better organization. Right now it's total mayhem.
And what's with the beggar dude? Too much like real life, if you ask me. Annoying. I smacked him until he left. Probably not smart. I'm heartless.

This game is so incredibly addictive, I need one more damn achievement, and it's the "play this crack for 50 hours" one.
