I dunno, that was really weird and I'm not sure why it happened, but it did happen twice. The first time I was able to get back into the game and then invited Pickle back in and we played it out. The 2nd time I figured you bastards were just kicking me out! j/k

I did want to add that they updated the codec for personal (and party) chat. Because of this codec update trying to private chat between the old and new dashboards will result in crackly craptastic conversations. Snake and Supa can attest. Once everyone has the new codec installed with the new dash you'll all be happy with the voice quality.

I still haven't had a chance to try out the netflix and am wondering if I can use it on two different machines since I have one upstairs and one downstairs. I'd rather use it on my 360 downstairs, but I don't have NXE on that one yet. I need to ask around about that.

I also installed Fable II to the HD. It took about 9.x gigs worth of space but it is worth it!!! The console is so quiet now I can crank my volume down about 4-5 volume levels and hear fine now. Pure awesomeness. I can see doing this for the few games I'm playing in rotation from here on out.

The install did take some time (maybe 5-10 minutes) but it wasn't unbearable by any stretch. Certainly not even close to as long as some of the game installs on the PS3.

crap I guess a 20 gig drive isnt gonna work to good for installing games on the HD. I dont really have anything on mine but some halo maps and rainbow maps and I only have bout 10 or 11 free gigs so all I could put on there would be one game right....ohh I got a few arcade games. Im guessing the new dash will take more HD as well wont it?

WormholeXtreme will become famous soon enough

Do they sell the 60GB drives yet, or are they only available with a new system?

they sell a kit that has the 60 gig harddrive and a headset and a 3month XBL subsciption card for $99. I wish they would just sell the harddrive for $20 less for the mic and 10 or $15 less for the card and sell the drive for $65

The new dash takes more than 128 Megs, but how much more I'm not sure.

I've been running at about 2.5-2.8 GB remaining, so I'm screwed. I'll have to go delete some old game saves and stuff and see how much room I can free up.

Sounds like I'll be asking Santa for a HDD.

I'm pretty excited about this. Too bad I couldn't get into the preview. I guess I can wait a few weeks though.

NXE Beta Users:

Are you using your 360 to stream mp3's? The system they used to have to scroll through your list was shite! Scrolling through my 25k songs sucked so bad. I am hoping that they include some kind of search function. Input?

is there a way to recover your gamertag to multiple hard drives, so you can swap out hard drives if needed?

I think not. It would ask you to re-type the password and email address each time you swap drives.

I believe that you have to do an account recovery each time you switch out drives

Holy crap - looks like an Elite is practically a necessity for the HD... Any thoughts on how that'll effect maps and extra dlc? Or is this only going to be an option for sp games?

You'll be able to redownload everything through account history, but you won't be able to move your save files without a memory card.

Doesnt the transfer kit that MS provides (that you have to request) will transfer all that.

But a question that needs to be asked (in reference to the hard drive matter):

Do the 60GB and 120GB hard drives run at the same RPM?

If the 120GB is slower, there may be little to no decrease in load times. I know the main purpose is to decrease disc drive noise, but I've never been bothered by it. Personally, I was looking forward to decreased loading times, especially in Fable II.
