Right, what is this?

Ok, on my daily trawl through Tech blogs and the like I seen what lloked like an intresting story about a new mouse by microsoft:

Ok, not really intresting, but i was bored at work. Anywho, the last picture caught my attention, and i'll tell you why without you haveing to scroll down the page. Here is the picture in question:



Ignore the mouse and everything, just look in the bottom right corner at the 2 Xbox's

The one on the right looks like your standard garden variety Xbox, with hard drive sitting on it. The one on the left, is what Im intrested in.

Is that a thinner 360 there or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

The one on the left might be an arcade version, and there's a memory unit sitting on top. Is that what you're seeing?

definitely not an hd-dvd drive, must just be the shadows/angle of the photo giving it that appearance

arcade is the same size as the pro. plus arcade SKU has a white dvd bezel.

It does look a bit smaller, but not enough so that it couldn't be an optical illusion of sorts.

Yeah i caught the illusion as soon as i seen the picture, there is no Harddrive but thats not the trick, its the desk thats cutting it off. I thought you were gonna ask what the hell that thing is on the top of the 360...i never seen the 360's memory card before.
