Ok. How the hell do I keep Professor Pester out of my garden? Can someone help me? He just came in and destroyed my best piñatas!

I'll trade someone something for an in game solution!

There is no real way to keep in out of your garden. You really only have a few solutions.

First one: before he singles out one of your pinatas you can put the cursor on him and hit the menu key on him and give him 500 chocolate coins and he will run out of the garden.

Second choice: At level 28 you can buy from Costolots store a decoy pinata for 825 coins and put in your garden and he will go after that one every time. But if he does destroy it you will have to go back in and purchase another one.

Or I also heard that if you tame the rhino you can direct him at the professor and he will head butt him and chase him away. But not sure if that is true or not or even works

I found this pinata card on PinataIsland.info which is a great wiki site for Viva Pinata. They have several pinata vision cards on their site. I haven't had a chance to scan this on yet, but I assume it will make it him disappear. It would suck to have scan this card when he appears, so hopefully it's puts an item in your garden.

I scanned the couple they had in there, I'm unsure of what, if anything, they did for the Pester. Also, in regards to the rest of their cards, 1 out of 50 seemed to scan for me. I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong, but some of those pinatas are kick ass, but the cards simply won't scan.

Oh wells, I spent the other night trying and the Professor Pester ones finally went in, but I have no idea what they did, dude still shows up.

According to posts I've read, the Dragonache (sp?) keeps him out. The problem is that I don't know what the heck a dragonace is...or how to get one

The Rhino works, but you have to direct him to Pester. The Dragonache chases him away without prompting.


BTW, There are two achievements for having a train in your garden. You can either complete the challenges in Region 5 to unlock it for purchase from Costalots store...



....or you can simply scan this card

I have quite a few other cards in my photobucket that y'all can scan if you want. Don't bother printing them...scan them directly from your monitor. It's touchy/tricky and takes a few minutes to get the hang of, but it works. As soon as it accepts the scan the pinata will appear in your garden. Some of these cards carry achievements (at least 4 of them).

BTW, cards can be scanned once every 24 hours, so this is a HUGE money maker. Scan in the high end pinatas then sell them off. Easy $100k per day to spend on other things....like using the hunter to get all of your master romancer awards or completing the challenges.
