Yesterday had it just go back while playing Graw. When I rebooted got E 71 call support. Looked that up on the info & it told me to unplug every thing & disconnect HD That worked for about 5 minutes then got 1 blinking red light,did it ll again played a while then freeze then 3 flashing lights. Did it all again and played for awhile then quit. I guess I'm probably going to have to call MS. Does the extended warranty cover if it's not the three light failure? This really sucks I've been off live for a month with moving & now I'll probably be off another month getting it fixed.

If you call them, the warranty is going to cover pretty much any failure that you didn't cause, even if it's not the RRoD. If they tell you differently, ask to speak to someone else.

It does sound like it's dying though. My condolences.

Sorry to hear about that Woodie. Hopefully you'll have a speedy recovery. The E71 error will eventually RROD if you keep it long enough. I had a console die that way.

3 red lights showed up called MS. They don't send you a box anymore just email you a shipping label. Support said 2-3 weeks to repair. Changed my address but somehow the guy came up with a different one than I told him, now I'm trying to get support to send me a different shipping label. Hope they do it soon I'm going to be out of town for about a week or so.

Sent it off today. Hope it doesn't take to long, I haven't gamed with a lot of you guys in a while. Only really played online Sun with the Graw crowd. This is my second one to brick so I'm a lot better off than some of you.

Got my Xbox back already. sent it in week ago Wednesday & it was back here Wednesday. At least they're getting fast replacing them. Gave me the one month free live. Said I had to re download all my stuff or I could only use it when I was on live. This box was originally from 10 25? 05. Couple marks on it but it seems to work fine.
