Well, being a guy on XBL, you're assumed to be ghey. Must be why everyone is called some derogatory remark about gayness. Apparently, everyone online likes to play with sausage, LOL.

And I wouldn't worry about the XBL people. They'll never see a naked real life woman without clothes. I think they just get excited and don't know how to handle being around a female, since the only that can love them is their mama. While Sessler is spot on, his network is one of the biggest contributors to the ridiculousness that is "immature dickbags" online. They're talking smack about their target demographic, so I can't really take anything he says seriously.

I don't see any of this going away anytime soon, simply due to the fact that cowards take solace in anonymity. As long as that anonymity exists, some assnapkin is going to jump in the lobby and say something like "Whoever doesn't veto this is gay," "You're a girl, prove it, suck my d!$k" and the like. The question is how do you effectively remove that anonymity while still enticing people to join Live and not feel like their personal rights are being violated by removing that anonymity. It's a tricky deal.

The best thing you can do now on Live is to use the feedback option on everyone's gamercard. I have to believe it works, and hope it really does, so if nothing else use that function until we have something better.

The other thing I do is not act all offended when someone calls me gay. That really gets under your skin, when you don't join in their hatred of homosexuals.

Most of the time if they call me gay, and I say, "so?" and then they're quiet.

on top of all that, they're ignorant and illiterate bunch of people. I hear the weirdest pronunciations of my gametag. How hard is it to say botmann (bot man). I've been called boot man, batman, but man...that I can remember most recently. Other than using a German spelling for man, but pronounced the same in English, I don't see it.

I blame TV for giving the impression that being ignorance or unintelligent is cool. Even when I was younger and used a lot of slang, I still knew how to speak English well, and didn't act stupid.

And G4 seems only to show the gaming dork who lack social graces.

That's all they want from you, respect and for you to value what they want. While I desperately care what Quo thinks of me, other than that, I just don't care.
