Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise
It appears that MS lets some screens get leaked on a few games and one is Viva Pinata 2. I know there are many closet Viva Pinata fans out there but I really enjoyed the first game. The screens on list look great so check em out if you are a fan of the game.

As hard as they tried, Microsoft just couldn't keep the lid on this week's Microsoft Gamers Day 2008 announcements as we just got word that both Viva Piñata and Scene It? are getting sequels. It looks like we now know what Rare's secret project is.
Mention of both sequels was discovered on one of Microsoft's press sites, where someone accidently uploaded all of the categories for this week's MGD08 announcements including categories for Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise and Scene It? 2. And being the good reporters that we are, we went out and confirmed that both of these two unannounced titles are in fact listed on Microsoft's press site, though all game media has since been pulled. But not before the crew over at NeoGAF grabbed screenshot love from the Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise folder. So, not only do we get leaked word that Viva Piñata and Scene It? sequels are headed our way, but we also get a first look at Trouble in Paradise! Enjoy the screens!

Very few games are out that the G-friend will play. This no doubt will be one of them.

How was VP? Worth getting if you're into Animal Crossing and games like that?

It was abolute bliss. I could have sworn I was single again for several weeks. Worth the price of the game in and of itself.

Yes the original VP was like crack! This one is a definite possibility it will be equally addictive. I know I played the crap out of the first one, and I will be picking this one up also.

I loved VP, didn't get as far into as I would've liked. Rainbow Six Vegas took it away from me. Looking forward to the sequal.

Yeah, I didn't get to play the first one as much as I'd like to. I'm sure if this one is just as good or better, I'll pick it up.

My wife played this game a ton and I recently got the pc version for cheap off ebay. I was reading tonight that the VP2 should have drop in/out of coop.
You know your family has been the game a lot when you 3 and 2 year old kids refer to unicorns as chewnicorns. We will be getting this game when it comes out for sure.
It's starting to look like Fall '08 (Gears 2, Fable 2, Too Human, Fall Out, VP2) is going to hurt my wallet like last Fall. It's been awesome that great games just keep coming out for the 360.

If they make it, I will buy it. Viva was a blast to play, and like NIN said, it was pure crack.

Here are some more details on the game from the xbox.com game page.
Quote:
Customize your garden and piñatas: Plant flowers, dig ponds, even place sand and snow in your garden to make exotic species of piñata feel at home. Buy objects to change the weather, or get new toys for your piñata. And nurture the thirty-two new species of piñata, including sour piñatas that infiltrate and wreak havoc in the garden. Choose to tame the sours, or feed them candy to keep them sweet.
Play with a friend: Family members and friends can now share in the joy of creating a garden by plugging in an extra controller. The second player has access to all tools, actions, activities, and can help by collecting magic. It's an entirely new way to play.
Play multiple game modes: Use the Player Guide System to master the fundamental aspects of the game. Then, try the Standard Mode where sour piñatas, feuding species, and limited money call for you to exercise problem solving and creativity to build and maintain your garden. Or enjoy Just for Fun Mode, which allows you to build a garden full of colorful creatures without worries.
Experience Piñata Vision: Plug in an Xbox LIVE® Vision camera and interact with the game through the use of printed cards featuring a unique barcode. Flash a piñata card up to the Vision camera, and the content will drop directly into the game.
Show off to friends: Use the new photo mode to snap, print, and upload pictures of your unique garden or customized piñatas to show to friends. Photograph your piñata and turn it into a piñata card, then share it with your friends so they can scan it and put it into their own garden.
Teach your piñatas tricks: Piñatas can perform dazzling tricks, if you teach them with the new trick stick tool. Watch as piñatas play together, perch on each other, and interact in new ways to make them even more appealing.

That right there might be enough to warrant a purchase. My fiance doesn't tend to play video games unless I'm around, so the first VP didn't last long for us. It wasn't because we didn't both enjoy it, because we did. It was just that it wasn't truly something we could play at the same time. If we can this time around, I can see this killing some hours on cold winter nights to come.
