It's SP, so it'll probably be a rental for me. I'm a fan of the books and movies...

Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Vancouver, Wa. Age: 38 | I tried the demo and quickly deleted it. The graphics were bland, but that's not my main gripe: the game is nothing but a button masher, and I really don't like button masher games. Plus, if there's an action scene and you don't hit the right button instantly (think Tomb Raider style), you automatically fail and get caught... WTF?
I see nothing but frustration and a sore thumb with this game, so I'm skipping it. I didn't find one thing about it that I enjoyed or anything that impressed me even a little bit.

| I also tried and deleted it. I didn't care for the graphics either, but that's not why I ultimately do not like it. The quick button pressing like Thornes mentioned is just plain stupid. Not the best way to sell the game, if you ask me. "Oh look, you have to fail a billion times before you can pass this game!"
Stupid. | |

Stupid. | Yeah. I know the game is supposed to be based on the books versus the game. I didn't think it looked terrible, but it's very much like Dragon's Lair... kind of silly.

I am definitely going to pick this game up when it hits the stores. | We represent MINI at my agency and we actually got to work with the developers to make sure the driving scenes felt somewhat authentic to the a "MINI" experience. I wish there was more collision damage to the cars though

If you just button mash, you get your butt handed to you. I also liked the inclusion of the Quick-Action timed responses. It keeps you paying attention to the game. There is an audio cue that signals that those are coming. You just have to pay attention to what the game is throwing at you.
The game reminds me of a newer version of Shenmue for the DreamCast. I didn't play the Shenmue 2 that came out as a DC import or the Xbox version, mostly due to it being pretty hard to find, but this is a nice filler for that genre.

You really don't have time to breath. Yeah the fighting is a little button mashing but I really enjoyed it. Not many games keep me on the edge of my seat like this one did.

Also, I was playing on the easiest setting and I could NOT beat the guy on the plane at the end. For some reason, I still really want to like this, so I'm gonna give it a whirl.
