I keep it laying flat - but I'd been leaving the discs in the console & someone said that's part of the problem.

Sam - I fubar'd the disc trying to get the scratches out myself even worse (old scratch remover thing I bought years ago). I was pretty peeved about it, but my wife went out & got me another copy & I already tossed the old one in the trash.

I found out that Gamestop or Gamecrazy have a disc scratch remover in their stores & will fix your discs for like $2.00...

I know GameCrazy's have scratch removering/disk resurfacing things, saved my RockBand disk. I didn't have to pay though, the guy working there was an old friend of mine. Not like it mattered , $2 is way better than $60 for a new disc.

Side Note: I try not to stay there long, he's one of those "I hate MS because the way they do business" (or whatever) kinda guys. Every time I go in and he's there I'm always correcting false info and defending MS. He believes the Wii is the best console (because it sales well) and that the PS3 is the better system because of it's large selection of great games. (He loves JRPGs, but I don't think there are many on the PS3, am I wrong?)
