Thumbs up Rechargable Battery Pack

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x...gebatterypack/
I bought a pair of these a few months ago for use with my Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers. I charge them with my Play-n-Charge kit. The Battery Pack lasts a long time, probably a month in-between charges, at the rate I play. It's nice not having to buy alkalines once a month.

Highly Recommended!

Bump that! I picked this up a few weeks ago, because my regular rechargable AA's were starting to wear down. I love the Play-n-Charge kit, because I can just plug the controller in if it dies.

The rechargeables are definitely the way to go.

I went with the charge tower thing (charges 2 batteries) simply because my xobx is up high and above the big screen... which makes the play & charge thing impossible. The cord's just too short to play plugged in.

With the tower version, I never run out of juice. Swap one & run.

Extra battery + the one that comes with the play and charge kit does wonders. Never need another battery! My play and charge cable stays plugged into my pc 24/7 and have used this setup since launch. Play and charge came down from 20 to 11.00 with friends BB discount so it was a no brainer.

I too enjoy the Plug n' Play kit, which charges MUCh quicker when attached to a computer. Does anyone have the stand-alone charger unit that came out rather recently?

Yeah I have the quick charge kit too, and I like it alot better then my play and charge. Main reason is I can just swap a battery out if one gets low and I don't have to have the cord sticking out of the front of the unit.

Heres a link for people that havent seen it:

Incase some look in here and arent aware of this, you can plug the play and charge directly to a USB port on your pc and it charges even quicker.

If a person already has 2 batteries and a play and charge but doesnt like the cord coming out of the 360 for some reason(placement/height/tripping), plug it into the pc and charge one battery while using the other and switch when needed

I've been thinking about picking one of these up. I have one play and charge thingy but 2 controllers. I'd like to have the tower charger thing if only for the 2nd rechargable battery pack.

Ditto! I love mine. I always have a pack charging while using the other. I used my old battery case (empty) in the empty slot to make the unit look 'symmetrical'.

I got my extra recharge pack from some PC hardware place that was less expensive than the standard MS price and it was a MS pack.

Hopefully I'll get a quickcharge kit for my birthday since I had it on my Amazon wish list. It should be much easier for me to use than the Play and Charge kit that I have since I can just put it in a cabinet and leave it there.

I just picked this up last weekend, and it kicks @$$. No more quick charge cables hanging in front of my TV when my battery gets low. I think it's definitely worth it.
