Then you'll start figuring out strategies - like using the squad commands, always jump into a vehicle with someone else, how to best use the roles, etc.
On the surface, the game just looks like a typical shooter, but there's a lot more to it if you use the roles and teamwork.
When you have four squads on one side, it's pretty intense. Best thing to do is try taking over an entire server, get everyone on one side... Nothing like whomping on a bunch of lonewolves! LOL

Are we just gonna sit around at the menu and wait for the Squad Leader to join a server and send invites to everyone? If so, I really hope we can coordinate time-wise, otherwise, people are gonna get tired of waiting around not doing anything. If there was a pregame lobby, we could at least chitchat while we're waiting for everyone to join up.
Honestly, it was a little tiring last night, having the same thing happen to us, regardless of what path we took to reach an objective: getting mowed down, regardless of how many bullets you pump into someone.

You can still create (and lock) squads & all that.
As for coordinating - that's what this place is for, right?
You also really need more than a 4v4 game; the more the better.

Basics like your squad set up and a few simple tactics to see how we all work, stuff like that.

We need a couple people from PGL to step up and volunteer to be the PGL squad leaders. Since there's three sites pulling together, it'll be easier to organize crap if there's a couple of squad leaders with the same people in each squad.

Also, if anyone wants to hook up on Monday or Tuesday night around 9ish for some practice, i will be on. I don't know the first thing about the squad options as I have really only been able to play the game offline.

J/K I’m off on Tue and Wed so if you want to get some practice in just let me know. Also if you haven’t all ready done so set your mini map to not rotate so I can give out general directions such as north/south. Also let me know what weapons you’re good at so we can form a rounded fire team. I'll need a heavy gunner, 2 assault, and an anti vehicle guy. Depending on the map I'll switch out AV guy for sniper. Basic S.O.P is take the point I assign and defend until the line moves up, then assault after that. I'm on Mountain Time so I'm like 3 hours ahead of you guys. Ok well that pretty much sums that up. Looking forward to kickin some ass.

I can switch between the heavy if needed I don't mind either.
Hey Thornes are we having more than 4 on the PGL side of things? If so we'll need another SL for that team as well, unless you’re doing it. I need more info LOL!
