| Rushmore f*cking sucked.
I like Amelie as well, I just think that the internet has made her overrated. Across all the boards I frequent, I hear her name weekly.
Also, I'll take French with English subs over English dubs any day. Movies such as Stephen Chow's go from "pretty damn cool" to "hhhhh-hhorrid" with English dubs. I can't read, but I'd rather hear the authentic language rather than some crappily read English version. | |

| No kidding! You guys are hijacking our hijacking! What is this?
Ever see that Seinfeld where Jerry's current girlfriend looks totally hot in some lighting, and downright nasty in other lighting? Not to that extreme, but that's kinda my viewpoint on Eva Green. She can look fantastic sometimes, and others not so much... She's a pretty girl, I dunno... I guess I'm just not bowled over. That's ok. She may not think I'm all that hot either. Go figure! | |

| Here's a bit of what Bungie hooked him up with:
Included in the Halo swag bag were : - Legendary Edition Helmet signed by most–if not all–of the studio staff
- Halo 3 Soundtrack (two disc) signed by Marty O’Donnel (with “DO NOT ERASE!” written under his name)
- Bungie Jacket
- Bungie T-Shirt
- Halo 3 Messenger Bag
- Two Halo 3 Limited Edition Wireless Controllers (one covenant, one human)
- Halo 3 Faceplate and Skins for Xbox 360
- Four McFarlane Action Figures (MC, EVA Spartan, Brute Chieftan, Jackal Sniper)
- Halo Actionclix Preview pack (Target exclusive sticker on the front)
- Halo Actionclix Game Pack 4
- Halo 3 Wall Graffix
- Halo 3: Ghosts of Onyx Novel
- Halo Graphic Novel
- Halo 3 Wristband
- Halo 3 Hackeysack
John Porcaro of Gamerscore Blog had this to say:
“We’re gamers ourselves, and we’re all pretty shocked that something like this happened… Apparently the consoles go through a wash-down process before they’re shipped back. You would think that someone would see the case and realize that it would be best to leave it be.”
Nathaniel, the dude who had his shit erased, is communicating with MS still about the mishap.

| I hope his house burns down. But then the pussies at Microsoft/Bungie will send him a Halo-themed condo. | |

| That's pretty freaking cool. Regardless of what did or did not take place and who may or may not have been at fault, props to Bungie for giving up some cool ass stuff. | |

| Im sorry but... If it breaks, they repair it,simple as... Ive purposesly made a scratch or dent, mark on my consoles before sending em back to see what they do to the case, And it seems Ive had like 3 new xbox's in my 6 sending backs, sometimes the cases didnt change, sometimes they did. Anyhow this is purely the worse thing Ive heard of MS doing, IMO doesnt mean shit if they give him a new signed one, Its gone now isnt it and the value of it aged wont be there.
I gotta say this tbh, Ive not ONE SINGLE regret, getting a ps3 and chucking my xbox in the bin. Not once has my ps3 crashed and I use it more than I did my 360. And games wise I think PS3 is matching the xbox now tbh, theres no "OMG ps3 has no games" situation anymore.
Ive got so many good games now to choose from for the PS3, and so many good games coming soon in upcoming month(s) so Ill say wat most people said on that blog.

| Here's an update from MS's side from a beautiful female with some really great hair: Quote:
Recently, the story of Nathaniel and the "wiped" console hit the interwebs. Nathaniel was the owner of a prized possession. He had an Xbox 360 that had several very cool signatures and drawings on it. He had to send it in for repair and tried to make sure that he would get the same exact console back that he sent in. He did get the same console but the signatures and drawings were lost along the way. People at all levels of the Xbox organization have taken this case to heart and are using it to make sure our repair processes can lessen the chance of this type of thing happening in the future.
We have been in touch with Nathaniel, both to express our sympathy (as gamers, we appreciate what he felt seeing a "clean" console staring back at him), and to let him know we’re working on righting things for him directly. We haven't let on to anyone exactly what that is but, personally, I think it's pretty sick (in a good way!). While this has already been reported on other sites, what hasn't been said is that we told Nathaniel that it would take a few weeks to get to him. I still think it will be worth the wait.
As well as working internally to resolve the issue, we have been working with Bungie and other external sources (No, I'm not going to tell you who, yet). As you’ve seen, Bungie stepped in and sent him some awesome swag while we’ve been working on our project. Coming from someone who lives and breathes community, that was a wonderful gesture.
Again, please be rest assured that there are many of us working hard to make sure Nathaniel will be the grinning gamer in no time.

| What about MS stepping up and taking care of everyone else who sends in their console to be fixed only to have it fail again down the line. Thats why I stopped dealing with them and the reaper center because it was a neverending circle of dead consoles.
I guess the person who cry's the loudest gets heard. He got some really cool shit. | |

| This just in! It appears that the persons name responsible for wiping the console clean is Kyle Miller from the Ohio state. He was last seen leaving the repair center in an orange jumpsuit with the Ohio State Prison marker on the back.
We ask anyone who has seen this man to call the local authorities immediately. He's heavily armed and carries a Proton pack on his back.

This guy is getting showered with stuff he doesn't deserve just because he whined and bitched on his blog. | What the hell?
Everyone here (except for me apparently) has lost a 360. Most if not all have started a thread talking (whining?) about how you lost yet another 360. I wouldn't call it whining personally, it's just stating a fact.
The guy/kid did something possibly unintelligent and Microsoft is bending over backwards for him (but not any of you after your 360's broke).
---Would you expect anything less in this wonderful world we live in?
Seriously, it doesn't affect anyone here, so what's the big deal? | |
