I finished Mass Effect (spoilers)

I finished Mass Effect the other night and all i can say is, what a great game! Very addicting and always left me wanting to see what was next. I played as a Paragon and my character was an adept. I'm going to give it a rest for a week or 2 and play it again as a Renegade. I could only use a pistol with my character, so i'd like to try it with assault rifles and the like too. I don't know how to hide the spoiler stuff, so i made the type white below, maybe you just need to scroll over it to read it?

The final battle with Saren was pretty cool as was the fact I finally got it on with Ashley (nice arse on that CGI chick for sure!) I also liked the fact it set up what will be a decent sequel to the game. I ended up with over 30 hours of game play on it and finished every mission and assignment i was given except for the ones where you had to find the various metals, gases etc. I guess i didnt explore enough, but i fully intend on doing so the next time around.

How many hours did you guys log and did you finish all the assignments? What did you play as the first time thru?

I think my first finish was around 27 hours.

i too recently finished as an adept with only a pistol. great game i started over to play the paragon side, as evil will always come first.

I finished as a renegade vanguard. I talked to everyone, got all the side quests done, including searching for artifacts, gases, and metals, and was able to reach level 50. All within 31 hours and 16 minutes.

I started the second play through as a paragon soldier. I don't plan on doing all the side quests this time.

I loved it also. I started my second play through immediately after the credits from beating it the first time. I am now on my third play through. Not as enjoyable now that I have seen most of the conversation variants, but I am playing for points now.

I finished last night I think I had 3-5 side quest that didn't get completed. I started it again right after I finshed it. This time going through as a soldier so I can use a rifle effectivly. I'll play as a full bio guy for my last play through on insane. I'm a little worried as there where 2-3 parts that a had a tough time on normal. This is now one of my top games of all time. I put about 34 hours in the first time.

Snake - I finished it last night. Wow, what an awesome game! I had more paragon points than renegade, but apparently not 75% of either. I'm gonna play thru as a bad ass jerk this next time around. I am undecided on whether to do full biotics or soldier. Some of those biotic abilities were kick ass!

What do you all choose at the end? Did you save the council or the galaxy? Or does it matter? I saved the galaxy - screw the counsel!! haha

I also appointed the military guy instead of that sissy politician.

I think I logged 25-27 hours. I did miss out on quite a few of the side quests tho. Not sure if I'll do them when I play thru again. Probably not.

I let the council die since I was evil at first, but even if you save them I think the galaxy still survives, it gets you more paragon points I think.

I can't wait to be a jerk the next time around. My first conversation I hit the renegade option on accident and ended up slugging some dude. Classic!

Well i ended up being & 75% renegade and full Paragon...dont ask me how that happened but i was playing like a champ. I forgot the hours i put it but i think its around 26 hours. I was a Vanguard and had Asheley where ever i went, I was busy testing out different options so At first i said to hell with the council, and i got renegade points, then the next time i saved the council and it just showed extra footage of the council being saved then it used the old footage of when i picked forget the council. I just got WAY MORE paragon like 25+ and the renegade was only 5+.

Im on my second play through and this time im a Mean Bitch...I think my name in game is Miss Bish and she is really a Bish. Lol, totally socked the crazy dude, Punked Joker so hard, and my speech was awesome. And when they talked about Saren and said he would kill millions of people to save the galaxy I said "I WOULD TOO!" lol

im now waiting for lesbo sex, i did it with that whore of a blue alien at the base, now off to that other blue alien i save. Not sure is Lez sex is done with Ashley though...lets hope for the best.
